  • Hi Caz, you certainly couldn't have hung washing out here, it would have ended up wetter than when it came out of the machine !

Love the treadmill suggestion - I must admit to going stir crazy so we ventured outside with the dogs for a quick walk.

Yes, I can report it stopped raining where I was today. Approx 5 minutes after we finished singing. La la la squelsh :rotfl:.

Good morning, woken up to a blue ish sky and no rain. Looking forward to walking the dogs in an hour.

Lodgers money has arrived so that's been switched to a savings pot, still offset. Oh to have a magic wand and see the mney drop in, it's definitely quicker to spend it than save it. However when I look back to Novemberr, when I started the diary we had very little savings so progress has been made. It gives me a far more secure feeling knowing I don't have to worry about checking the bank account. I also realise there were times when I didn't want to check the online bank as I didn't know how bad it would be. We lived in our overdraft all the time. When we switched to FD I reduced the OD to the minimum to ensure we never go back to those days.

Right, cup of tea time then out with the dogs.

    Best wishes Tilly x

  • Our poor dogs will be getting quite fed up. We are normally out walking at 630am but seem to be dragging our feet today. Off for 730am instead. I have finished a bit of ironing though.

  • Glorious day and dogs loved their walk. Work is a bit mad but there's no change on that front. Bank holiday weekend on the horizon :T

Hope everyone has a good week and enjoys the change in weather for as long as it lasts Tilly x

Yes, a lovely day here as well - I saw it out of the office window, after a weekend where it poured almost all of the time :(

The river here has burst its banks - I had to drive through a flood on the bridge this morning  If others hadn't got through safely in front of me I would have turned round and driven round the long way.

Looking forward to the bank hol as well :j

Even though I have only just come back from holiday :o
  • The river broke its banks near here too - I can't recall ever seeing so much rain in such a short time.

Wheni am down to under a year to clear my mortgage, I am going to steal your line - it will be gone this year - I can't wait
