Morning GG, Dog walk may have to wait a long time - the wind is seriously bad and the rain is smashing into the front windows. It's the time for snuggling down not going outside :eek:
I am trying to type whilst the cat climbs on my lap, my head etc - makes life that bit more interesting.......
Business idea is different to corporate life but is something I have dabbled in. Keeps bubbling up to the surface.

Thanks for the timely reminder. I am always rooting in freezer, come dinner time, and defrosting in the microwave/oven for a longer period. From now onwards, I am going to change my ways :money:Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Hi US, dare I say this ????
Given the spreadsheet users then I guess so.......
You all know I have a menu plan on a spreadsheet, but it also has a column for which drawer in the freezer to take things out, and a column telling me when to remove it from the freezer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So very methodical, I daresay. I'll try to follow in your footsteps and add this info at least in the chart beside the freezer.Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Love it... a whole new level of organising via excel!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.1 -
Just realised we are £33k away from owning 50% of the house. That is 6 months away - a new goal to achieve :T. I really do think that will be a huge motivator as we will be on the home straight then, we will always own more than we owe after that. I can't wait.
So come October 2012 we will own half the house - I appreciate there's the other 50% to go and yes, house prices go down, down and down, as well as up but that's a big milestone to hit. After that it will be the 75% milestone to go - by my reckoning we should achieve that target in August 2014, which puts us on track to hit our target of 4/8/16. That is excluding any bonus or salary increases so..................I am just wondering whether we can bring our MF date forward?
I think DH will go bananas when I have this conversation with him, but I wonder whether he likes the sound of 01/04/16.
May have to sit and think about this before discussing it with Mr Tilly - or maybe I should jump in with two feet
Loads to think about now.

I actually managed to dry some bedding on the washing line yesterday morning... but I had to wear wellies to cross the lawn to peg it out!:eek:Tilly_MFW_in_6_YRS wrote: »Morning GG, Dog walk may have to wait a long time - the wind is seriously bad and the rain is smashing into the front windows. Perhaps your dogs need a treadmill, for when it's too soggy out - then they can still get their daily exercise without you having to venture out in the rain and spend hours drying off afterwards
Maybe we need a "confessions of a spreadsheet-oholic" thread
