Evening GG, how true that is. If only you could set a timer

I even put the heating on tonight, in May :eek::eek:

It would be great, except one of them is TINY. I used to have a 4 foot chest freezer and my god that was heaven! :rotfl: now my long term plan is to move the ff from the garage into my kitchen, and then put an upright freezer of the same height next to it ....! Imagine the possibilities!
:j of course, then I'll go and ruin it all by ordering 6 months worth of whole prey for the cats and storing that in it...! :rotfl:
Fine. That's what night time is for .
I quite agree. I think we should petition the met office to arrange this for us. It's only fair. In fact I was discussing the very same thing with some friends only yesterday! :rotfl:Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Morning Caz, I think there are enough on us here to start a petition.

Just getting ready to take the dogs out and it's dry - looking forward to stretching our legs.

Morning, Friday already. Life seems to travel at such apace it's startling. It's a good job we enjoy the journey.
I am sorting the freezer this evening and getting the shopping done so that the weekend is free. Cleaner will have sorted the house out :j
Really looking forward to the weekend and hope we all have reasonable weather. I will be planting up some veg and sowing some seeds - weather permitting.
I need to go shopping for some clothes, a job which I see as a total chore. I never seem to take joy out of shopping for clothes. One of my friends goes out for the day, lunch out and it all sounds like purgatory. Hopefully I can find something quickly.
Wish me luck, Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Happy Friday Tilly  <- wish they had one of these with mugs of tea/coffee.
What about charity shop shopping? See what is the biggest bargain you can find? Maybe that appeals to your MSE nature more?
(love me a good bargain - my best one was a lovely jumper for 20p at a church sale) Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Have a good day Tilly, hope you find clothes quickly.
As we spent a fortune on rocket lettuce last year, I decided to grow it. All sprung up looking lovely and when it was time to harvest........it seriously tasted like grass and nothing like the lettuce they have in supermarkets. Don't know what went wrong!!! So even though they grew wonderfully...we couldn't eat any of it! Bleggh!1 -
Morning Ammonite, on the rocket front, perhaps it was too old? I tend to grow it and eat fairly young and the taste is mild but peppery.
There are different types though - I will check which ones I use and let you know.

Just finished a cuppa and you're right, we could do with a cuppa cheers.

What a day, I wonder if we put a collective brain power together could we solve the economic situation? Working a 50-60 hr week is taking its toll this week. I have caught up with a friend this evening and will make sure I call another tomorrow. DH and I are having a little quiet time over the weekend as the kids are off out.
Money all safely in the right place and after being with £co since November we have our first pay out in the next run. Only £8.70 but a further £27 to come, but boy that was hard work. TCB seems so much quicker. Anyway, can't grumble too much, it's still free money.
Haven't checked forecast tonight but I have to plant some stuff tomorrow and put into plastic greenhouse.
