Thank you once again. The boarding kennels are all aware of it, and they've got his picture from FB.

chris/tj got round more last night. I didn't even know half of them round this area, but I think between us we've got about a 40 mile radius covered regarding kennels.

The doc surgery is a 'no'. They just got it all done up, and it's only those television advert screens they've got now, nothing on the walls. A nice chap from the group who works in the bakers printed off more posters and put them round more shops today, so I could go down to the caravan park for a search.

Everyone is being so kind, and I hope I can repay them in some way for all of this.

What about a bingo hall, or day centre for the elderly, even a hospital/walk in centre, if they'd let you put posters up?

Have you asked down at the harbour - you said he likes swimming? Stick posters up there too.

Yep, posters and fliers down there. We had a moment today where we thought he had been seen there, but it wasn't. Didn't stop me rushing down there though. (my work is just letting me get on with it at the moment)

I'm hoping the P and J covers a lot of housebound people. Everyone up here 'takes' the P and J. It's out tomorrow so hopefully...fingers crossed.

Wish I could do more but you are so far away :-(

I may not have thought this through entirely but perhaps (and only if you wanted to) you could place an appeal (not on here as it is against the rules i'm sure) for people to donate to raise a reward? It may not be needed but it is just a thought, please say if it is a terrible idea.
Even if a few peoploe gave a few pounds it all adds up.
And if you don't need it (cos a lot of people wouldn't take it I think, I wouldn't) you could donate it to one of the places that has helped you?

Thanks Lisa, but people are already giving so much of their time already, I wouldn't ask anything else.

I have no doubt, I'll get something from somewhere if he comes back-believe me, I'd move heaven and earth to give that person something, anything.

I hesitate to say this in case it worries you more, but maybe it would be worth driving to places either side of Nairn and posting flyers there too. If he ran a fair distance, it's possible he could have got picked up on the road.

You said he made it 8 miles away previously, where did he end up that time? Was it up the main road or over fields? Might he have headed the same way?

I can't believe he's not back yet. I feel heartsick for you. x

I wonder how we go about asking this to be mentioned in Martins weekly email, has anyone got any ideas on that please? Another long shot, but that email goes out to thousands doesnt it.

Good idea. 10 miles in each direction, and put posters up around those areas too.

Thanks Ali and Zaksmum- Every day people are going to the place he ended up last time, that was over fields, but this time he was last seen bolting in the opposite direction. I even went to the exact house he turned up at 6 years ago.

I have people from about 35 miles away in Elgin and inwards towards Nairn looking for him-it's amazing how word travels. I'm putting a lot of faith in the paper though- it goes all over the North of Scotland. My friends in Elgin/Forres etc are giving out flyers and posters. If I thought for a moment he had got on a bus- I'd be sending some to Glasgow as well.

I have a few more suggestions for posters and or leaflets. Churches (might get the oldies that way), golf clubs, hotels, even takeaways? Would love to be nearer to help you more.
