Everyone- thank you . I'm not going to pretend tonight was easy. Been very tearful but my candle is burning, and I have one outside on the doorstep.

Canygirl-Thankk God your OH got your babies back, and thank you for taking the time to post on Ruars page on FB as well even though you're so stressed.

To my darling old boy. I miss you more every day, I love you and I know one day we will see each other again.

What a lovely picture of Ruars looking at his candle burning.
I've got to nip out soon, luckily, my dog isn't bothered by the fireworks at all and is fast asleep on his new bed he got for his birthday, totally oblivious to all the bangs going off outside, if he was at all worried, I would have stayed in with him.

I'm hoping that when I come back, there will be some good news, that Ruars has run away from wherever he was and has found his way home, or someone has spotted him who knows he is missed and how to get him back to you.
With all the love concentrated out there, willing him home, please let it be soon as I can't imagine, and never want to feel the pain you are in Sazzy.
Keep on hoping, don't give up on him, he's got to be out there somewhere. Lets see him home safe soon.

Can someone point me in the direction of Ruaridh's facebook page? I have friend's in Nairn, so thought I could send it there way in case they haven't seen it.
I've read the thread from the start, my heart really goes out to you Sazzybum. Seemed to have missed any links to FB though. I did find it before, but can't now....

Been watching this thread all night hoping no one else's dog has got a fright and run off.

We are not really candle people but my OH came home last night to find one burning and thought I was trying to mask the smell of burnt dinner :rotfl:

He was very pleased to hear dinner was fine

I love the picture of Ruars and hope that he was happy where ever he was yesterday. It is just so sad that he can't find his way home
