Please lets not start turning this thread into something other than what its for. I for one dont care what religion a person is, same as what colour. You could be green with pink spots on for all I care.

I think padstow along with most of us (with pets) hate bloody fireworks with a passion. My beautiful Teeg (RIP Teeg) hated them and needed medication to help calm him down.

All we care about on this thread is the safe return of Ruars, and any other poor lost soul.

These are padstows words and yeap i agree wholeheartly with them.

"If you want to make a difference, tell your kids, no bangs and show them the video linked."

Hurry home Ruars, you are much loved and missed more than words can say. xxxxx

My candle has been lit early today. xxxx

    :T:T

Well said Chris. This thread is about lost dogs, not politics, religion or anything else.

Just on a nice news note...Thanks to Ruaridhs Army -another three stray dogs have got home to their families :D

2 JRTs were found by my Auntie, (200 miles away from me). She immediately contacted me, and set the wheels in motion, using everything I've learned in the past year from on here, and the lost dogs sites. I told her what to do, and where to go-and they were re united with their family that evening :T

On Monday night, Sean was out with Brucie and Madam Zelda, when he phoned me and said ''Aileen, you'd better get down here, there's a stray husky running around'' Ran out the door while on the phone to the police..and after a bit of a run around managed to catch her, poor love was SO scared, but loved Brucie to bits. She decided she quite liked me and wouldn't go into the police car until I sat in the back seat with her-gave the neighbours something to talk about :rotfl: Anyway..she was chipped, and was back with her family the next morning :T

None of this would have happened without the knowledge you all have passed on to me..now another 2 families won't have the xmas we had last year.

I'm SO happy for the owners, I really am-but I hope you all understand the bittersweet tears I shed when I heard they were home. SO happy for them, and selfishly sad for myself. Selfish cow that I am.. I thought 'why them and not me' I hate myself for it.:(

    Sorry for the looooong post
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them.

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)

Nobody could ever call you selfish! Those tears were understandable, we all wish that Ruars would hurry up and find his way home to you. I just hope that Bruce and Zelda are of some comfort to you.

Yes, well said Chris, I also agree with Padstow, there are too many animals terrified of the bangs etc on bonfire night. Fireworks are exposives and shouldn't be on open sale to the public.
This thread is now about finding Ruars, and helpiing other animals find their way home. Let's keep it that way.

What great news for the owners but no, you are not selfish, very far from it.
Although Ruars has not made his way back home yet, he is doing his bit to help others and that will always be a tribute to him and you.

I SO wish that he could be home again with you for Christmas, back where he belongs.

I'm not religeous but still keep lighting a candle for him.
Let's all light one for him and other lost souls for Christmas, in our homes and a virtual one.

Bless you Ruars, wherever you are, please find your way back to your family for Christmas, the best Christmas present they could ever have.

Nothing ZM..must be busy-or maybe he thinks it's been too long since the old man went missing. :-(

Well it doesn't take much effort to respond to an email, does it? Just common courtesy.

Looks like another dead end then.

Another Christmas without our old man. It doesn't get any easier. We miss him dreadfully. But what gives us heart- is that thanks to Ruaridhs Army, some dogs have been reunited with their families, and some even have found a new home. We love to think that Our Ruars had a paw in all this. Our gorgeous, loving old man, we love you, we miss you, and we'll see you again, I know it. Thank you to everyone who is still supporting us. Have a peaceful Christmas. xx
