Looks perfect! Just invite as many people in your area as you can and ask them to add friends in the area. Word spreads pretty quickly on these things :)

Oh sazzybum :( I came on to recommend doglost but someone has already done it, and just to say I really hope you find him. Get as many posters out as you can and hope someone has found him and recognises him. I would be going spare too if it were one of mine. Big supportive hugs from one dog lover to another, even though we've never 'met' each other. (())

I'm overwhelmed by the support and kindnesses shown to me over the last 24 hours. Thanks to you lovely people, I have got the word out further than I could have imagined.

A group of teenage lads, whom we usually see when we're out and about just came to the door saying that they were away out a walk and could they have his collar and lead as they were going to 'fan out' across the fields to try and find him. This was the same lads who saw my front door open last night and came to see if I was ok.

Getting all teary again, so I'd better shut up.

Can't express my appreciation enough to you all

    Thank you

he is gorgeous and you can tell he is well cared for (defo doesnt look like a stray)

am sure he will be fine wherever he is

if he had been in an accident the police would have been in touch by now

he will be hiding in someones shed and will be discovered when he comes out hungry;)

    POSITIVE THINKING!!

What nice boys ...... great to hear everyone's rallying around and helping.

Wish I was closer and I'd be there too. I've joined your FB group - I'm not an avid user of is so not sure if that means it goes out to more people or not (?) but thought it was worth a try.

I've been in touch with the police-in fact he was last seen near the police station, but they couldn't catch him. They said that this is the third report tonight of the same thing.. Bl00dy fireworks! We don't have dog wardens here (In Nairn-Highlands). I did contact the SSPCA, but they wouldn't even take his details saying that they only deal with injured animals, wouldn't take a description or anything.

We didn't get him chipped when we got the rest done as he was 10 at the time, and the vets stresses him so much..I'm totally kicking myself now, how stupid can I be? I could leave a message with the vet, as they only have an answering machine, but I'll do that-thanks.

I just want my old boy home:(

    I'm so sorry sazzybum :(

I know it's easier said than done but please stay positive, it's only a short time.

I'm furious at the SSPCA, they could at least have taken his details.
