Dialaphone just phoned me up offering me this phone for absolutely no cost at all. Free phone and all line rental paid. You get £45 back after 3 months (half price line rental offer), then you get £90 back each quarter. Guy on phone said people are queing up for this deal and ordering more than 1 at a time.

Is it a 12 or 18 month contract?

ye it was the V975 and free line rental on 12 month contract. Dont have a link though, as they called me up with the offer. Im sure if you phone up Dialaphone and mention this deal they will give it to you at that price as well.
  • I ordered a V975 from http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/

It's £4.99 a month line rental (via cashback) for 12 months on a 12 month contract. Couldn't find anywhere better than this with this phone. I have a friend that has an LG phone and I'm not too keen on their handsets. I've read some horror stories about this company on the web but postings on this site seem to think they're ok and they've been taken over by the CarPhoneWarehouse in the last couple of months. The phone is due to arrive tomorrow (I ordered over the phone on Monday night), I'll post if I have any problems with them.

Oh, the tariff is on 3, 500 minutes crossnetwork and 100 text's per month.

it was DEFINITELY 12 months!! The guy was trying his hardest on the phone to make me take it, even if i only wanted to try it for 14 days and see if i still wanted it!! He said i must be mad, as there is nothing to lose - free phone, totally free line rental, free minutes/texts every month. He said people are jumping for this deal how can i say no lol (i hate these people that act really nice to you and try an pressurise you!!!). But anyway i said no to their offer as im looking at a similar deal with orange (prefer them to 3).
  • I STILL have not received the £40 'bringme' credit from Dial-A-Phone (DAP). Has anyone actually received it?

This is despite emailing and telephoning DAP. Don't get me started on their automated answering service, which seems designed to blatantly keep you on the line as long as possible at 0870 rates.

Also they REALLY do not want to reply to emails. On each occasion I have been sent a standard response after about 3 days, stating that 'in their experience these things are best dealt with on the phone and suggesting that I ring them' (paraphrase). I suspect that they do not even read them - even when I requested that they did NOT just ask me to ring them, I still got EXACTLY the same response.

I am not filled with confidence for when it comes time to redeem my cashback vouchers.

    Be warned.
  • Having some problems with onestopphoneshop.com!!

Ordered a phone the other week but was told by them my order was declined by 3 and basically told it was my credit rating. Lot of crap I thought, I don't have any debt to speak of and NEVER pay my credit card late, but though, I'll get a credit report just to check.

Needless to say, credit report comes back A-OK but still can't get a phone out of them and now they are saying my bank details I am giving them don't match with what my bank has on file for me. Funny that, I seem to be getting statements fine and the address is the same as the one I've been giving them.

I have moved just under 3 months ago and not on the electrol register yet, wonder if this might be a problem!? Just seems stupid, I'm in a good full time job and want to give them money and have a perfect credit history but they're having none of it. Any ideas what's going on?

    Cheers
