They seem to have changed the offer from the C975 to the V975. The phone looks like it has identical features as the C975 but is a clam shell design. Looks like it's the same deal just a different phone.

It show the V975 as an 18 month contract also but the £4.99 runs out after 12 months then it goes up to £30 for the last 6 months.

I think it worked out at 30 or 31 days, my friends took 40 days.

I have received my 'online' £10 but not the 'works' £40. Did you get both at the same time? Did you have to explicitly request it or did you receive it automatically?

By the way has anyone discovered how to delete messages and contacts on this handset?

To delete a message, press the main menu button directly above the 'joystick' this will give you the option to delete etc. when you receive a message or want to delete a text in your inbox etc.

I have just had a look in the '3 sevices user guide' and I can't find it in there.

It also doesn't tell you how many characters you have in 1 text message beware of this! When you go to create a new message it shows in the top right corner of the screen as 450 characters. As far as I know, and correct me if I am wrong someone, this is almost 3 text messages! Note, once you get down to 290 characters, you then have used 1 text message up.

I hope that makes sense but for people who only want to use the free texts and no more, if they were unaware of this they could get caught out!

If you go onto 3 wap and then to my services then my bill it tells you how many mins and texts you have left to use, plus 3wap is free to access!
