I have received my 'online' £10 but not the 'works' £40. Did you get both at the same time? Did you have to explicitly request it or did you receive it automatically?

By the way has anyone discovered how to delete messages and contacts on this handset?
I had it automatically about 2 days after the £10. I know people worry about not getting the money but I wouldn't have originally post the thread if I didn't know you can not be questioned over getting it as long as the link is used. I don't know anyone of my friends who haven't had it apart from one who had to call and ended up getting it twice... (another tip me thinks!!)

    Regards

  • The dial-a-phone £4.99 for 12 months on an 18 month contract is a good deal but I don't want to be tied in for that long.

The best I can find for a 12 month contract is dial-a-phone at £4.99 for 9 months, then £30 for the last 3 months and you get £10 online refund and a further £40 "theworks" discount if you go through the link mentioned previously in this thread. This gives a total cost of £84.91 for a year.

This is a good price but does anyone know of any other ways to drive this price down further. I'm a bit miffed I didn't get the £4.99 for 12 months on a 12 month contract that was on offer last month.

    Cheers

hi i'm looking st this offer. How reliable is this company, has anyone had any problems with getting cashback. I've just come out of the FC triangle so am a bit dubious.

looks like a good offer for 99p pm

Let Me see if this is right...

LG 8120 (nice small phone) with 500 anytime xnet mins and 100 texts for 4.99 a month

    12 month contract

    first 10 months at 4.99/month
via cashback and other bits and pieces

    month 11 and 12 at 30.00 /month

    less £10 online cashback
    less £40 Bringme cash back

    10*£04.99 = 49.90 49.90
    + 2*£30.00 = 60.00 109.90
    - 1*£40.00 = 40.00 69.90
    - 1*£10.00 = 10.00 59.90

    59.90 /12months = £4.99.17 an month
dont forget to give 30 days notice in month 11

with free accessories 3 month free insurance (dont forget to cancell afther month 3)
    is this right?

    on dialaphone code number 600tt76 & Id22

    [/list]
  • What is the "bringme" cash back? How do I sort that out.

    Also I would like the Motorola V975 and for this phone you can't get 10 months @ £4.99, it's 9 months @ £4.99.

Think the same applies for that mailorderphones company, when I look at the Motorla V975 the tariff's aren't as good unless I'm not looking at the right page.

    thanks

i think i might consider the LG offer before 3 turn all their minimum contract to 18 months! i was going to consider the motorola v975 but someone told me the fone is pretty bad (and the date is in US format!). the LG was bad too, but new firmware should have now fixed it.
  • I heard that about the date but I also heard you can change it to UK format without too much difficulty, a google search would turn this up if it's possible. Anyone got this Motorola phone and want to comment on it?

Also do you know for sure that 3 are changing their tariff's to 18 month ones?

Dialaphone just phoned me up offering me this phone for absolutely no cost at all. Free phone and all line rental paid. You get £45 back after 3 months (half price line rental offer), then you get £90 back each quarter. Guy on phone said people are queing up for this deal and ordering more than 1 at a time.
