We had a black mirror cover nicked about a month ago, from ST3...0

What are the screws like which hold the covers on? Could they be replaced with torx screws? Add glue to the threads when screwing them back in? Or do the covers just clip on/off?"In times of universal deceit, telling the truth will be a revolutionary act. "

I had my wheel trims stolen yesterday evening too. I'm keeping an eye on Gumtree and eBay for used black wheel trims for sale in the area!0

The problem with screwing or glueing them on is that they'll probably end up damaging the whole mirror trying to het the covers off.0 -

My kid's maroon Astra had the nearside mirror back nicked whilst at my mothers funeral last year. I found a new one this week on Ebay. The sellers has loads in lots of different colours.
It did cross my mind where he got them from. I'm wondering if I've even bought our own mirror back! I paid £7.99 plus p&p."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

CCTV System going in today, but nothing short of amazed at the things they will steal.
There is one Citroen at the local main dealers which was adapted for wheelchair use where they'd nicked the entire front end. They nicked the bumper, grille, front crossmember, bonnet, wings, radiator and intercooler.0 -

That's a good idea, but wouldn't it be better if Vauxhall and other car manufacturers made it a little bit more difficult to pinch the things in the first place. Maybe even a small bolt with an allen key head holding the thing in place would be an improvement to just being able to remove the thing by pressing the top and bottom.:mad:"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry.
