They're fetching £20+ on Ebay and the more they nick, the higher the demand and the higher the price.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

The genuine covers from Vauxhall come in at around £90 a pair colour coded, plain plastic £23 a pair. Expensive things to buy

If is a very big word, IF they are caught with them in their possession banged to rights. IF they aren't in their possession how can you prove these guys actually took them. Yeah its pretty obvious they did or a big coincidence loads went missing on the same street around the same time if it wasn't them but coincidences can't be used in court!!Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -

Certainly from our footage we can prove without doubt they took them. One camera was less than a foot from the lad and he can clearly be seen removing them. The other camera that gives a distance view shows the other lad lift off the cover and it can clearly be seen in his hands.
I assume should they be caught it will be a case of asking for other offenses to be considered.
Local PSCO who's a friend is going to call in, in friend capacity, over the next few days. He's worked our local area for years and I have a feeling he'll look at it and instantly recognise them.0 -
Also to add, these gents appear to be around my eldest lad's age so we have taken the liberty of asking a few of his mates to nip in and have a look as well, as most live on the same long street we do they are obviously worried about their own vehicles. I feel certain they are local as no car is seen and they are walking up at different times (tea time in the first incidents). We may strike lucky with them too.0

Try Black 18” S-Max alloys! The car was 2 days old when they went, hence I’m back to silver!💙💛 💔0 -
If or when they are caught it may be worth the police checking for an ebay sellers account at their address. Unlikely, but possible.I assume should they be caught it will be a case of asking for other offenses to be considered.
Well done for filming them.0 -

You are running the risk of - and may irretrievably already have done so - compromising the police investigation by your actions. If the police have not yet alerted the suspects, then you can bet your bottom dollar that one of the mates you mention will have a loose tongue. This risks getting back to the suspects, who doubtless will pronto get rid of any incriminating evidence, get their stories straight etc.
Please leave the investigation to the professionals from now on if you want a positive result by way of prosecution and conviction.0 -

None within 20 miles over the last month, non on gumtree either. I'm wondering if a local breaker is giving them a few quid for them.0
