Just got hold of someone in Natwest, and I got told that I now need to phone after 12 as they'll then have information to give to me.

I know these things do happen and most other saturdays it wouldn't bother me but my Tesco shop today was really important as it has all the stuff in for my sons 5th birthday tomorrow....as an agorophobic i have no way of getting out to get any of this elsewhere and i have no other way of paying for the shopping.
So i'm sat here living in hope that the system will be back up soon as Tesco have said that if i can still get it delivered this afternoon if i can pay by 1.30pm

The NatWest/RBS problems have only occurred today so are unlikely to have been the problem with DDs that failed yesterday.

I am talking to a Natwest advisor through the web chat facility, he has advised me to check online banking this afternoon. What the bleep is going on? There are too many different times being thrown into the equation.

I am absolutely appalled. If I have to cancel my bowel abscess operation I will take legal action against Natwest, I need to have blood tests done today and cannot walk 2.5 miles there. My mum has even tried to send me money. I will not accept anything less than the sodding bank sorting it today or you will be responsible for me losing bowel.
