i bank with natwest and just tried to use telephone banking to check my balance, whereas its usally automated it put me straight through to an advisor and he told me that the internet and telephone systems were down at present and advised to check back later. i asked if there would be a problem with me using my card in stores or cash machine and he said everything wasn't working at the minute. hope that helps . . . . then again probs not if you can't get any money at minute, didn't know how long problems would be on for either.
was just coming onto post this info and saw your post so thought i'd add it on here xx0 -
Online banking isn't working at the moment. Hopefully it will start working again soon.
PS. RBS is offline too.0 -
Managed to use my card at Tesco. Normally money that we receive on a monday is available for withdrawal on the Saturday but it's not showing up when getting a balance at an ATM. Hopefully will appear when the system is up and running. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

I went to log in, got told I hadn't got Rapport installed, which I have.
Thought ok I'll download it, just incase it had an update, but half way through installing, it failed and told me to uninstall other version.
So closed it all down, reloaded the Natwest page, rapport working, but then met the service unavailable message.0 -
Bets open on the next one...0

I was expecting a Tesco delivery this morning, just had a phone call from the store as they can't take payment for it, so gotta ring them when Natwest is back up and running to pay for it and get it delivered.0

Paul Lewis said it was always better to have some sort of back-up, a card with another bank or credit card.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
