  • That's terrible Mrs PG, what a nasty piece of work and totally uncalled for. We've got 'them' in our road, think they're top dog and better than everybody else on our estate, they wouldn't last 5 minutes on the 'posh' estate on the other side of town.:rotfl: Don't let it spoil your weekend.xx

I think there are loads of snobs around, thank goodness we aren't like them thats all I can say ! Thankfully I havent crossed paths with him over the weekend !

Mr PG had a day off yesterday ! :j:j We spent it trying to get as many long overdue jobs done as possible as we arent sure when he will be around next. We took apart the trampoline which had gone mouldy and rusty and that went to the tip, leaving loads more room in the garden, we also smashed down a treehouse and play area Mr PG had built for the girls 10 years ago. It had gone rotten in places. We have put the slide which was attached up for sale on ebay, it might be easier than trying to get it to the tip. Amazingly it went on at about 10pm last night and there is a lot of interest already. Even if it goes for £5 it saves us having to get rid of it. I have discovered I am dab hand with a mallet, great for the stress relief, I was smashing up everything in sight ans having a great time yesterday ! We now have loads of wood for the fire pit, just need some marshmallows and chocolate to melt and we are all set !
DD2 was a bit upset though , she said all the fun had gone out of the garden, so we have said we will keep the swing for a little longer for her . ;)

We managed four trips to the tip, a walk by the river, assisted DD1 with her Maths homework in amongst all of the above and all in all we had a very productive day ! :D

It was really nice to have Mr PG around of a weekend, its such a rarity. Maybe one day he will be around a bit more.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend xxx

    Feel in total Limbo.

Still heard nothing from the bank. They are making such a meal of this decision its getting stupid now.

We just need to know one way or the other. The account isn't using the overdraft at the moment, but it does need to as I have a few bills to pay which I am delaying to keep the account in credit for as long as possible. It probably wont make a difference to their decision but it makes me feel better ! Think one of us will need to give the Account Manager a kick up the bum today for an answer. :rotfl:

On a mission to cram as much into the day as possible.

Shopping delivered and put away .

Extra work drummed up for May so that's looking reasonably full now which is nice. We also have a possible new client so keeping everything crossed there as well. :D

Car limped to the garage via the petrol station. Now to wait for the diagnosis and bill !

Hoovering and some washing needs doing and bathrooms need cleaning. Then back to work. Back in hospital tomorrow for stupid back, so need to make sure everything clean before I go or it will worry me. :o

Visit to parents later to check on them and drop in some food.Mum now poorly. :(

    Thats it for now.............................

More fingers, paws and hooves crossed here for a good overdraft decision - in my experience, they're a lot quicker to say no than they are to say yes, so hopefully this delay is a good sign :)
