    Hello MrsPG, :hello:

All digits crossed for continuation of OD facility!

ps. Would never buy another Citroen - had one that spent four months [out of six owned] in bits in the garage, and could also terrify you with a CO2 poisoning story (luckily not fatal).

Ooh now Im intrigued although it doesnt sound good. Glad it wasnt fatal though.

I swear our Citroen has spent more time in garage than on the road ! As of a few days ago it now has a new warning light up "Faulty Depolution System" which I am pretty sure is pricey. For now though, we will ignore it as we have enough to deal with sorting out the other car !

Maybe I should get myself a horse and cart instead ! Surely more reliable ? :rotfl:

  • Good luck for Monday I hope the news is good!

We had tonnes of trouble with our Renault Scenic when we had it. We actually spent more on fixing it then we paid for it (£4k ) and it spent more time in the garage or parked outside broken than not. Had tonnes of mechanical faults and the engine would just die on me whilst doing 50/60 miles an hour randomly. SOOOOOOOOOOOO dangerous! I was so glad we got rid of it it scared the life out of me. Has put me off buying a renault ever again. And you've just put me off your brand of car too ;) ....our old volvo although OLD is a much better runner. The scenic was only 4 years old when we got it with less than 50,000 on the clock! And the volvo was 11 years old when we got it and 110,000 on the clock lol and no major problems! (granted it has broken down a few times but not whilst in motion on A roads!) I reckon a good £7k of our debt came from that scenic :( so annoying!

    Have a good weekend xx

Still not got shot of the houseful of other peoples children that appeared here last night and didn't go home ! :rotfl:

I am trying to iron in the midst of the mayhem and as fast as I tidy the kitchen someone else wants a late breakfast or a drink ! I am making hints that they need to leave as I want to take the girls to visit my parents this afternoon. I love having them all, but its gets expensive feeding and watering them all of the time.

Took Dad back to the doctors yesterday, he is much better after last weekends escapades with him. They are arranging some more tests for him. I offered him his car back incase he needed it for the weekend if he felt well enough to drive but he has told me to hang onto it for now which is really helpful :D

Oh and a snobby neighbour story for you which left me really angry last night.

I was just reversing my dads car onto the drive in front of my car that is out of action for now. We have gates, but they arent electric (not posh enough for that one ) so I reversed the car as far up to the gates as poss, and jumped out to unlock them. As I was getting back in the car, a neighbour "known as Mr 3 Jags in our household " pulled up with his wife, wound his window down and boomed out

"Well I thought you had finally bought yourself a new car, about time I thought. But no, the other one is still on the drive, and this thing your driving is hardly new is it ?( Mum and Dads car is 6 years old ) How wrong can I be? Really lowering the tone of the neighbourhood you are" I was utterly gobsmacked. I told him not so politely to mind his own damn business and with that he muttered something to his wife, wound up the window and purred off in the Jag. I was fuming. I called Mr PG and called him and he is threatening to go round and " have a word" I would rather he didn't but he is as angry as I am .

How rude can some people be ? I cant stand this man anyway. When he moved in he decided to take it upon himself to come wandering unannounced and univited into our back garden one summers day, I had no idea who the hell the guy was standing in my back garden while the girls played in the paddling pool. Mr PG was there that day and told him where to go. Another day I came home and found our burglar alarm going off and he shouted something rude at me from across the street as to "About time too, disturbing the whole street with that racket etc etc " Sadly I am not telepathetic and was blissfully unaware the alarm was going off until I arrived hom. I cant stand him, but he has really really angered me this time.

I just do not understand where people get off on being so rude.

Its the thought not the look that counts and therefore I would say his foul opinions lower the tone of the neighbourhood much more than your car does.
