Well the neighbour will be really annoyed with us now as I have just heard back from the garage re the car and it appears to be a Crank Shaft Sensor that's gone, £60 plus labour, so on the assumption that fixes the problem, we may decide to hang on to the that embarrassing car for a tad longer. Maybe for no other reason than !!!!!! off the neighbour !!:rotfl:
I have got over the bank stress today, have blocked it from my mind and decided what will be will be and whatever the outcome we will have to just get on with it !
Hope you are doing ok Mrs B xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Still no news guys....sorry !!
We spoke with our Account Manager, he was very chilled and just said that he had been on a course and would chase it up next week. On that basis we will attempt to act equally as chilled and not think about it !
In other news the car came back from the garage, £200 later  Its not cutting out now which is good but I had forgotten about the beeping when it rains or gets wet, so I stupidly once again took it through the car wash and then drove myself insane with the damn noise. The plan was to get the windscreen repaired and the wing mirror and then decide what we are going to do with it.....but in the meantime , as of today it looks as though the alternator has given up the ghost. Online prices are about £500 plus labour, we know we can get it cheaper, but nonetheless is another expense we could do without. Mr PG has suggested I dont drive it, so with him away with the other car we are once again stranded ! ! To top it all off, Mr PGs car needs four new tyres and is 8K over its service so he has that booked in to be done the end of next week I think. His air conditioning packed up two years ago and he really wanted to get that sorted as with the distance he drives it can get a bit stuffy and his depollution system light is now permanently on !
Never rains but it pours but I think cars are set to become the new stress in the PG household.
BUT I do have some good news.
I have new garden furniture. I had been saving since last year all of the money from the ebay sales as we had nothing to sit on or eat at in the garden, so I have finally treated us and it arrived on Thursday . I am really pleased with it and sat last night on the patio and enjoyed a nice glass of vino in the sunshine. Sadly though it has arrived damaged in places so I have lodged a complaint and we will see if they replace or maybe offer us some money back.
I have had two letters from A£tiv K@pita£ re our two MBNA accounts. They are unable to provide us with the CCA request at this time and have put our account on hold and will not chase us any further for the money. The totals for these two accounts plus the other MBN@ account also on hold for the same reason are in my signature and amount to in the region of 20K of our debt. In my heart of hearts I think the CCAs will materialise at some point and on that basis we will then begin to pay again, but in the meantime I will put this money towards the other debts for now and begin to reduce those further.
I will try and catch up on your diaries over the weekend if I get a chance, but incase I dont hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hope you had a great weekend Mrs PG. I've been a bit lapse on the diary input, but I do read your adventures on my phone at lunchtimes. Hope to catch up properly this evening.
