Madness? Surely that would be living in a mansion with a non-flushing toilet in every room! :rotfl:
(Claiming off the insurance for damage caused by that would be a problem).

Not anymore clearly !! I do think its alot to expect particularly when there is something happening most weekends. We don't eat out so that DD1 can ! :rotfl:
My thoughts are , if as parents you cant afford to pay for the children attending then either don't book a meal at a restaurant in the first place, have pizza and movies at home, or book the table but say no present giving, but maybe that's just me ! It is starting to grate a little particularly when a few weeks back, DD1 chose to eat the cheapest pizza in the restaurant and only had one coke. When the bill came it was split equally, the other girls had all eaten starters and mains or mains and dessert or all three. She was the only one who ate just pizza. She ended paying just under £20 for a pizza and a coke as when she tried to make her point it all become a bit heated at the table and to stop any arguments that were brewing she paid up. I can see her point but I was a tad irritated to say the least !
Ho Hum !! Anyway they aren't roller skating this weekend, she is just going for the meal and says she will only have one drink ! Shes a good girl
Yes tights situation was diverted thankfully and today she was wearing everything she should have been when she left the house !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

We do have a few toilets, too many really. I think I have said before I used to lock the doors from the outside to stop people using them as I got fed up cleaning them all of the time ! We have lived here for ten years though and its the first time I have ever been told I cant be insured due to the amount of toilets they managed to cram into this house when it was built.
Talking of toilets, I was ironing the other night and watching a S@rah Be@ny programme about doubling the size of your house or something. There was a lady extending her house from a four bed with one bathroom to a five bed with seven bathrooms and downstairs cloakroom ! Can you imagine the cleaning ? xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Oh I hate it when that happens re the bill! Thats really not fair and she shouldnt have been made to pay £20 when thats all she had!!! Weve had this 'heated' debate a few times when weve been out with DH's family, his uncle orders drinks, 1 of them once had 2 starters , steaks etc and then expect everyone else to chip in! Argh makes me soooo mad!!!!!
Ive had the same thing in my diary although not as extreme as this issue! My DD has a joint party to attend this weekend and we know both kids so whilst they split the cost of the party I have to buy 2 presents!!!
Heyho nevermind!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
