    Hi PG.

Found your diary last week and have spent the last few days getting to know you and your friends from afar.

I'm hugely impressed by the way you and Mr PG have grabbed the bull by the horns and knuckled down to beat the debt. Your girls sound great fun and a real credit to both you and themselves.

It never amazes how strong the people are on here, and on the bad days how someone is always there to prop you back up until your mojo is back and you're ready to start to swing again (in a purely platonic, baseball bat kinda way;)).

Now I've delurked, I'll keep in radio contact.

    Over and out,
    KJ

So glad your final payment came through before that organisation went to the wall. Sorry that they did, as that's one less possible source of work, and really hope you are able to drum something up soon.

Until then, keep cracking the whip to get the "list" cleared whilst Mr PG is at home.

    Hope the car is ok.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Shows you how hard it is out there.. I sometimes wish I had George O on speed dial so I could get him to understand he is living in a parallel universe..

Thank god you got the payments you did..

Best of luck with the drumming...! Yes I love the Southend girl's take on life too...but her portions are minuscule!! Ate some kidney bean burgers this eve, very nice too.

If anyone is doing that fast on 2 days diet then I reckon it's the blog for you!

Dropping by quickly on this sunny Tuesday morning to update that I have paid another £50 to THEM, sig updated :)

BUT...... and there is always a but, Mr PG's car collected and it cost £278. 00  with a list as long of your arm of other bits that need doing including two new tyres. The Depollution System warning light though flummoxed them as it transpires the car doesn't have a DePollution System ! :rotfl: Anyway the car is booked back in for next week for more work, I have yet to ask Mr PG exactly what will be done. I think , on my part, ignorance is bliss and that's the way it will stay for today. I would rather not know. :)

Recommend tyre shopper and topcashback on it too. I once paid just under a grand for 4 pirrelli. Got some cheap ones nearly two years ago and they are still ok, £286, total bargain!

Well done on another pay off, all helps.

Phew... glad you got your payment last week Pinot!

Re the tyres do you have a back street type place near you? I got 3 new tyres for £93 for my focus a few weeks back, might be worth a shot? xx

Morning Mrs PG I have been reading and not posting, sorry! Have you thought about part-worn for Mr PG's tyres? My driving instructor used to go and get these all the time as they are dirt cheap and just as good.

    Afternoon Mrs P
More car shenanigans I see!!:eek:
All is good here, thanks for asking. I am slowly adapting to the new world, i totally underestimated how hard the transition would be if im honest :o. I have gone from being totally knowledgable about my job, earning a decent wage and running a team to feeling like the office junior in an industry I know little about. BUT I am much happier than I was and that is what is important.
My OH has a garage and a car sales, I wish we were closer and we would be happy to help you out with your many car issues

Hope Tuesday has been good to you, how have you got on with the drumming up of more business?

  • We got 4 part worn tyres for £120 last month (or maybe the one before?!) we've a volvo s60 so they're usually pretty pricey but i directed dh down the back of town (sounds dodgy, honestly it's not lol) and got part-worn instead! They look brand new tbh you couldn't tell the difference :T
