    Hi PG.

Found your diary last week and have spent the last few days getting to know you and your friends from afar.

I'm hugely impressed by the way you and Mr PG have grabbed the bull by the horns and knuckled down to beat the debt. Your girls sound great fun and a real credit to both you and themselves.

It never amazes how strong the people are on here, and on the bad days how someone is always there to prop you back up until your mojo is back and you're ready to start to swing again (in a purely platonic, baseball bat kinda way;)).

Now I've delurked, I'll keep in radio contact.

    Over and out,
    KJ

KissJen, thankyou so much for delurking, lovely to hear from you and yes do please keep in radio contact !!

Thankyou for your lovely comments, think you must be a crazy lady like me if you have spent the last week reading my inane ramblings that tend to go on and on and on at times ! :rotfl:

Take Care and feel free to drop by any time we will all be pleased to see you xx

Wow so many car related top tips I don't know where to start !!

HH, we use a mobile tyre place usually which is far cheaper but I will most definitely check out the company you have recommended first and with Cash back, what could be better ! :D

I will think about the part worn tyres but to be honest with the amount of mileage that car does I am not sure it is a viable option really, I think we will be replacing them again before we know it, but I will mention it to Mr PG. Car booked back in for fuel injectors amongst other things plus there were two pages of other issues that need sorting sometime soonish, thankfully some of them Mr PG can do if he has time, but as that list of jobs for him appears to be getting longer by the day it could be a long wait ! :)

DFW, I have slight concerns about your DH disappearing off down the back alleys !! Are you sure you aren't trying to lower the tone of my lovely diary again ?! :rotfl:Now all we need is Kerri to pop up with her words of wisdom and I dread to think where this conversation may lead us ! xx

I don't have any funnies this morning :( OH woke me up to tell me he was falling out of bed as the cats were taking up a large portion of the bed, I refused to move them as then they would require feeding at 6am! So he slept in spare room, then I woke up and have jarred my neck so I am in pain and not feeling very funny :( If I think of anything, I shall chirp up though :)

Yes I have, it goes into spasm every now and then. Although this was one of those ones that goes from your ear to the base of your neck and feels hot. Do you know the ones I mean?

I do and they are so nasty and painful. :(
The only suggestion I can offer is a heat pad on your neck , but I know that you know all the heat and ice stuff already so I'm probably not much help. Really hope it eases soon. xx

I thought I would share this little gem with you , as we are all in this MSE boat together I think it will strike a chord.

As you know over here in the Pinot Household we are desperately trying to battle the PG National Debt to the point of selling everything and anything we can find, saving pennies here and there for the coffers and working all the hours under the sun in an effort to save money and pay the bills whilst still somehow having something that resembles a normal life !

So this morning I wander into DD1s bedroom to give her a glass of juice to drink while she gets ready for school. She had just jumped out of the shower ( the water usuage as you may remember has been a huge bone of contention for a long time now, but we seem to have gotten through to her about the size of the bills ) . This morning though, I can safely say I was completely and utterly lost for words when entering the bedroom. ...........................There she was wrapped in towels and drying off her body with the hairdryer.:eek:. Who on earth dries their body with a hairdryer ?!! Was she not thinking of the cost of the electricity as she powered the hairdryer at full blast ?

Speechless isn't the word. The look on my face must have been a sight to behold. When I finally regained composure and closed my mouth after standing for a good few minutes with my mouth open in shock, I asked her what on earth she was doing ? Was this a usual occurrence, or a one off exercise in oddness ? Why was she not drying her body with a towel like normal people ? She quickly gathered her thoughts and like the special and gorgeous teenager that she is quickly came up with an excuse. She was actually drying her fringe of course, but as she had picked up the hairdryer she had accidentally switched it on and so it looked like she had been drying her body with it, but really that wasn't the case at all !!! :rotfl:

I chose not to confront her any further but just quietly reminded her of the cost of everything and that the more usage she ramps up on the electricity front the less she receive of something else she really would like . A new top for example !!

I think I really need to get one of those smiley and sad usage meter thing ! xxx

    Trying to shift that debt!
