No more wine for you, until you come back, or shall I tempt you with some now to make you come out and show your face?

Hope life is ok in the Pinot house. (for some reason my fingers always type pinto instead of Pinot and I have to correct it each time) :rotfl:

  • Im sorry, I have been hiding.

Not sure why really, think I just needed a breather.

Dont think I like January very much.

Work still rubbish, everything keeps on getting cancelled. The clients we have worked for this month we have now discovered are in trouble financially and I am worried as to how they will pay us. They cant even pay us a £400 invoice let alone a bigger one due in February. There is no way we can get through February if they dont pay and even if they do we cant afford the mortgage at all. I am sure the bank will be good , they have in the past but I didnt want to be in this situation after acheiving so much last year. :(

The contract didnt come off as it has now been turned into a permanent role, not that we havent considered it. The pay though is less than Mr Pinot was earning 16 years ago, we have moved, had the girls etc etc and everything has gone up in price obviously. If he took the job the house would have to go. We couldnt stay here. I dont want to leave, we worked so hard to buy it and even harder to keep it. I dont want the girls to have the upheavel and we cant sell at the moment with the NHBC and building works hanging over us anyway.

I am currently re writing my CV as I think I may need to step away from the business and get searching for something just to keep the wolves from the door . Mr PG will have to do what I currently do in my absence. Mr PG though is currently in a meeting with a potential new client although it will be ad hoc work but they have also said they dont think there will be much work on the horizon for 2013 , but 2014 is looking good.

So many things whizzing around in my head currently. Not quite sure what to do for the best xx

Aww Mrs P a mahooosive welsh hug here for you *HUG* so sorry to hear of all this stress you are going through.

However, bright side of life you are in a £20k better position than last year :) don't ever forget that. I'm sure something will work out so you get to keep your house, and if Mr P has to start inventing random food menus you can tell us all about them :)
