  • Mr PG made me a picture for my birthday last April and he made another for my Niece as part of her wedding present.

We finally got around to popping one up for sale in December as with work quiet we thought it was worth a shot and if sold Mr PG may have time to finish making it. It was a shot in the dark, the plan being it would go up for sale on Folksy maybe . In the rush though we popped it up on eBay at a Buy It Now Price.

We have literally just sold one for £150 ! :T:T:T

Mr PG now must add this to the Good Things Jar for 2013 !

Off to celebrate with leftover Melt in the Middle Choccy Pud and Vanilla Custard ! :D

:j:j:j WOW!!! Thats fantastic. A big WELL DONE to Mr PG. A few more of those and it will be bye bye to THEM and the rest of the predators :D

  • Rudely awaken this morning by the phone ringing under the pillow.
It was THEM  no doubt their New Year Give Us Our Money call.
We didn't answer it, decided to drink few cups of coffee and wake up properly first before getting into conversation.

Second early morning call came in ................ A job for Thursday :D

Hi Mrs PG. Brilliant news about Mr PG selling his picture. And a job for Thursday too:j:j:j:j

I would have ignored the phone call from Them too...

As a teacher I had some horrible things done to me. I still live in the community and the young adults who were the worst as teenagers are the best at keeping in touch etc. One thing was pins put in mince pies, salt in my tea, coins fired at back of my head throughout a concert in school hall and finally stabbed in the hand with a pair of scissors. I handed my resignation in next day after head teacher did b****** all about it.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

OMG Pooh I am absolutely horrified. No wonder you handed in your resignation, that was awful

As I said before , all things aside about what is going on with the girls and their education, I dont envy teachers that job.

DD2 and I have been doing Science Experiments at home, todays topic is Osmosis and we are making Naked Eggs !! Or trying to at least ! She has learnt loads already and has spent the morning making up a booklet detailing our experiment, logging photos etc.

DD1 has gone shopping so we are waiting for her to get home before we continue as its something she tells me she hasnt learnt about as yet, so we will rope her in on it later.

In the meantime, another days work has come in for Wednesday and three more days for February. Still havent been paid though and we now have lots of invoices overdue. Thankfully I have only needed to shop once since the weekend before Christmas and spent £50 so I am quite pleased with that. Managed to rustle up a Chicken and broccoli stir fry last night and this evening I will make something with a butternut squash, not sure what yet though ! DD2 has asked for a Risotto and DD1 a Butternut Squash and Pasta Broth. I will get DD2 on bread making, she makes a mean Doris Grant Loaf !

Was hoping for a NSD today but DD1 needed bus fare and lunch money and a pair of school shoes so I have had to shell out for that. No NSD for me then !

Mr PG has had time for a 26 mile bike ride and frightened the natives in his new Christmas Winter Mankini. He is now in full picture making mode.:D

Thanks all for your congrats on Mr PG's picture sale, as soon as it is made we will stick another up for sale, he has made them in two colours and with Valentines Day fast approaching we may manage to sell another one if we are lucky. DD2 and I are on the pretty girly details, packaging, labels and the like. :D Oh and yes Enchanted I am very proud of him. He would be happiest in a shed making things all day long if he could !

Enchanted, is it worth you looking to see if the free Les Mis tickets are available still near to you ? We are not going to the closest cinema to us, but we will be passing it on our way home from a business meeting tomorrow so it worked out well. I dont have a babysitter yet though and as its not local I dont want to leave the girls on their own. I need to get that sorted sharpish !

Right thats it for now, I am off to write up some blurb for a job we are hoping to pick up.

Hope you are having a good day x
