  • Evening Pinot :-)

Sound like you are having a very productive day. Think I will take your advice and have a scout around for some tickets, if I can't manage it, it's not too bad as I have a £20 cinema voucher :-)

My only reluctance in going alone to see Les Mis, is Hubby knows how much I want to see it and I'm pretty sure he will want to see my reaction to it....... I'm guessing I will be quite emotional :-) so, I don't really want to spoil it, by seeing the film on my own.

    BUT......

I really, really do want to see it :-). I can't forsee any babysitters in our near future as my parents go away for * a month*...... how very dare they?!?!?!? In the next few days and I can't imagine it will be still showing when they return.

Dilemma, dilemma......... Should I bite the bullet? I'm tempted Xx

Enjoy your science evening project, don't bring the roof down.....lol x

We struggle with babysitters although DD1 is geting older now but Im still not happy leaving them in the evenings. You never know it still may be showing when your paretns return seen as it has rave reviews.

Science project still ongoing, a few other things got in the way, so I still have an egg sitting in a beer glass of vinegar on the kitchen counter waiting for the next stage !! :D

First day back at school this morning, I had forgotten how much I hate them going ! :o Didnt sleep, lay awake worrying about them going back, how daft is that ? I love having them home although I dont get much work done. DD1 wasnt looking forward ot going back as she cant be dealing with the silly b*tchy girls, DD2 was happy but didnt fancy getting up early ! This is the child that didnt sleep until she was 5 !

We made it out of the door on time although had to return as DD1 has forgotten her art book, then I had a mercy call from DD2 as she had forgotten her Science Apron and would get a detention if she didnt have it. She didnt want that on her first day of term, and as both myself and Mr Pinot were here it wasnt a problem to run it into school for her to save her stressing !

Picture coming along nicely. We have popped another up for sale. I did find someone else selling them last night for £290, the other people sell for £320, so hopefully as a sideline they are priced to sell fairly easily although they are only on ebay not a nice fancy website, but we havent had time for all of that. I need ot take better pictures as well, I will rope DD1 into that as its her forte ! He is also in the middle of another project which is a trial experiment for DD1, but again if succesful is something else we could look into selling. NL you were asking about the picture. I will attempt to post a picture, just need to speak to Granny or Mr PG as to how I do it ! Mr PG did pop me on a nice little Avatar for my diary the other day as he decided it was about time I had one !

Right must dash, got some business to work on and also another job for April has come in today, along with a little bit of money hence the small payment to THEM ! :D

    Hi Pinot

Are the pictures something that Mr PG can work on in the evenings whilst he is working away?

It could be worth analysing how many hours it takes to produce each picture, from start to finish, and the cost of materials, so that you can decide if you are pricing them adequately.

It sounds like the work diary is filling up again nicely. Some payment-chasing could be productive. Did you ever resolve the payment still outstanding from 2010? I hope you included late payment penalties with each reminder.

    Satchmo x

Really enjoyed your diary. Very inspirational and you have dozen so well todate.

I work for myself and getting paid has become quite a challenge and in some ways is why we have ended up with our debt

My resolution this year is to grow some balls and not be so easy going on not being paid.

Look forward to following you in 2013 and wish you the very best of luck x

  • Just home from Les Mis and I urge everyone to go and see it. I swear there wasn't a dry eye in the house ! Even Mr Pinot was blabbing ! :rotfl:

I can't remember the last time I saw a film and no one in the audience spoke, sniffed, coughed or shuffled. We were all glued to the screen in complete silence !

Beg, steal, borrow do whatever you can to do to get to see it ! :D

Be back tomorrow, off to bed with a wee Fake Baileys to round off the evening. :D
