We had to cover our school books in brown paper.....
It's been a lovely day so ice-cream was essential. Tomorrow can be a NSD instead!
Guess what ? You were right, yesterday was my first NSD of the month, and today has been my second !! :j:j
Granny, I agree the Ice Cream was exactly what was required, particularly as I stood in the garden in full sunlight, ironing so as not to miss any of that lovely sunshine !
We had to cover our school books in brown paper or wallpaper. I remember using old cuts offs of Anaglypta ( is that how it was spelt ?!) The books looked very fetching I'm sure !! DD2s book looks great covered in jeans, with paint splats on the pocket and coloured pencils, printed off ,then cut out and positioned inside the pocket. Very arty !
So the weekend was a bit boring tbh, Mr Pinot was still away although he showed up in the early hours of Sunday, went on a 50 mile charity bike rideat about 7am to raise money for a poorly child nearby, then totally exhausted, went back off to work ! That particular contract is now over though , but he is now working for someone else for the next few days.
We have picked up enough work to fill the month, no contracts jsut odd days here and there for varying companies, but thats fine and all pays the bills. This will give him four days off , he needs more , given that he hasnt had anytime off since we flew back home on the 22nd August, but needs must and all that. One day things will be different
So today I was planning to work all day long, which is usual, but DD2 is still poorly so have ended up at the doctors with her today, she has a chest infection and is on antibiotics but still at school , she even managed to take herself off to Netball Club for an hour and half after school, mad child that she is. Currently flaked out on the sofa, but not for much longer as the Homework Monster beckons !
I have worked, just not put in as many hours as I hoped, as I needed to take some food over to my parents as well, in between the doctors. The house needed a hoover also , the predators needed paying as I am late again. I completely forgot about them, how I managed that I will never know as it usually consumes my waking thoguhts !! Anyway I have paid most of them today, see new update !Another is due by the end of the week, and as the Westcot Saga continues, I currently have no idea who I need to pay that debt to anymore, I need to give myslef a few hours to write a big stinking long letter to someone over that ! The Virgin card has been passed on , so I need to dig out payment details for that card but I will do that later when the house is quieter I think.
I havent caught up on anyones diaries I'm afraid for a few days but will aim to.
I hope you are all well xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Yey Mrs F, I am sooo happy !!
DD2 loves it, but is most disgruntled as she has some discrepancies on her timetable apparently, so has informed me she is off to see the Head of Year today to get it sorted once and for all ! She is a stickler for perfection and attention to detail that one !! I have emailed the Head of Year and warned her DD2 is on a mission !! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
