Had exactly the same thought myself when I saw your post Mrs H, hope you're ok x

My little madam had me up at 6.30am so I was very unwise not to take my own advice and go to bed early. She has only just left, after a very busy hyperactive day, with DGD2, DS and DDIL2B also coming over for 3 hours this afternoon. I'm shattered now.

I've got a similar problem to you PG with MBN^, paid them in April but they sold the debt on the day before and now I can't get any sort of reply from the DC company - bar stewards as they are.

Hope your dad is feeling better soon PG and you haven't pulled any further Dr Dolittle stunts today

Yes its been a hectic one, feeling exhausted now and ready for a bit of a moan. Apologies !

Went to collect more meds from the pharmacy today, was rather embarrassing as the pharmacist took me to one side and had a quiet word in my shell like about his concerns for the amount of meds I am taking. I think he thought I was an addict. I was mortified. I know he was only being kind, but I found it so awkward :o

Havent had an answer on the other website yet re the Westcot situation. They are usually very good but noone has replied as yet which is a shame as I was hoping to get the letter off to them today.
HH, just wondered re my earlier comment about Arrow, Rockwell, Westcot. Have you any idea in your expert opinion who you think may own the debt now ? Just wondered what your thoughts were if any and you can understand my explanation ?

Collected DD2 from day out, along with her friends, after doing the various drop offs and a quick trip to Asda I decided to cook a rather yummy and so easy Crab and Sweetcorn soup and a chicken chow mein. I feel very proud of myself , no spiders legs, mouldy bread or dodgy pineapple in sight Mr B I'll have you know !!

We are now searching the house for a suitable box for DD1 to transport her lolly stick sculpture into school tomorrow. We have decided to turn him into a Mexican Lolly Stick Man, so have packed a sombrero for him to wear when he goes to school !!!

DD2 had her singing lesson this evening , she has dropped one riding lesson a month in favour of one singing lesson in its place as she wanted to do both but we explained we couldnt afford for her to do both. She has just been chosen for the lead role in the school production ( very proud mummy at this point !! :D ) and is off on a writing course tomorrow with a script writer from Eastenders and Holby City ( shame she doesnt watch either really ) She had one a few months ago with a Poet and loved it.

We have chased the money owing to us today. One has said the invoice due on t e 4th June wont be paid until the 15th , not sure when it will be in the account. The one due on the 18th with the same company wont be paid until the 30th June. two other invoices both due last week with a different company say the person who pays the invoices wont be in until next week and the final company has decided not to respond despite three other invoices becoming due by this Friday. I am having a little bit of a panic as not only do we need to live and pay the bills, Mr Pinot also needs to eat whilst away. Hotel is paid for thankfully . Feels a bit like one step forwards and fifty steps back at the moment as its so hard to keep control of things with no idea when we will see any money. We have been doing so well, yet I feel today like its all falling apart at the seams. :(

I have my nieces birthday tomorrow, the wedding which I need to sort a few bits for and clothes for Mr Pinot and my mums birthday oh and fathers day. Too much to think about and pay for .:(

Tomorrows another day though, so I am sure a miracle may happen over night and it will all come out in the wash !! :D

Granny, I'm sorry you were woken so early, but I hope you enjoyed your day with the Grandchildren. Sorry to hear you are having MBNA problems also. Let me know how you get on with whichever DCA you are dealing with.

Anyway I have whinged enough and will do so no more. I am off to pack up Mr Lolly Stick Man and give DD1 a kick up the posterior to practice her singing for her vocal exam which is fast approaching .

Have a lovely evening all xxx

I agree. You shouldn't have to spend the rest of your life in pain and it's better to have the experts sort it out, even if it means an op. I mean, how else are you going to get back into pole-vaulting?

The clients are a pain in not paying on time they don't realise the impact it has on real people. I hope that the money turns up very soon.

Well done to DD on getting the lead role, no wonder you're proud! I'm jealous about the meeting of the script writers, could I go too? She could have a ride on the Captain in return...

Im sure we could sneak you in Piq and as she has heard all about the Captain ,DD2 would be sure to enjoy your Company !

Yes you are correct, the pole vaulting................ or could it be the pole dancing has been severely lacking of late :rotfl:. I need this op sooner rather than later !

I hope the money arrives soon as well, two of these are huge very well known companies as well which makes it all the more irritating ! x Ho Hum !!

It will all come out in the wash I'm sure !

Hi Pinot, thankfully I wasn't awake through worry, I was awake through pain! I know you will sympathise with this one - I've hurt my back! I did it messing about with one of my horses and it is very, very painful and stopping me doing much at the moment. It happens occasionally but then seems to right itself after a few days, not like yours :(. I hope you get your appointment through quickly and get it sorted once and for all - constant pain is so wearing on top of everything else you've got on your plate.

Hope your overnight miracle happened and things look a bit brighter this morning. I'm sure the school will wait for their money, and at least you've been given some payment dates to work towards. Sorry it's all a bit hard at the moment, but just look at your signature and remember how far you've come x

Sorry to hear about your dad, but great that he seems to be on the mend.

Feel your pain on the outstanding invoices, we've got some that are overdue and its a new company we're dealing with. A rock and a hard place kind of situation as they still want us to do work but no payment for work already done. Hmmm
