Pinot's Potty debt free journey!!!

Ok well yesterday was ridiculously busy in the end. Not quite sure if Im coming or going really. After working and raiding the Magic Drawer for birthday present money for my niece, school etc etc we made it home about 4 ish.
DD2 absolutely loved her Writing Course although it sounds as though more drama was involved than writing but she was buzzing !
Took the girls at 5 for their bridesmaids dress fittings. The house was a bit smelly where they are being altered and they wont be ready until three days before the wedding, so I will have to attack them with Febreeze I think which is a shame. The girls looked lovely though !
I made Goks Garlic chicken which we had with rice and salad for dinner, It was so easy and really tasty.
Singing lessons were at 7, after dropping DD1 off, DD2 and I set about sticking some washing in the machine, runnign the hoover around, packing her bags for today and going through some letters. They want the Isle of Wight money, I was supposed to have purchased tickets for a Music Show she is doing next wed and they also want money for tickets for the school production and also £42 for the school photos. I dont always buy them but they are the pictures of the sports teams and as its her last year at school she really wants them. Trust her to have been in so many teams, I now need to buy loads of pictures. I will have a go at scanning them tonight, if they come out ok I wont need to buy them ! Collected DD1 at 8 and drove to see my niece with her presents.Had a lovely glass of bubbles with her and chatted all things weddings, then headed home at half 9. What is a 15 min journey turned into a nightmare. The petrol tank was on the red and they had closed loads of road. The jounrey took an hour and a half and we finally rolled in at 11pm. Totally exhausted. I honestly thought we were goign to run out of petrol and everywhere we passed was closed.
Needless to say trying to get the girls up for school today wasnt easy ! DD2 has proudly taken her Olympic Stadium cake in for the display !
So jobs for today, chase money again, look for new contracts, catch up on paperwork still, iron as its overflowing again ! I need to collect Mr Pinots shirt for the wedding and said I would take my mum with me so that she could look for a few bits she needs as well. I am looking after a friends daughter after school for a couple of hours and then I have an induction meeting at DD2s new school at 7pm this evneing. No rest for the wicked !I need to rustle up something quick and easy for dinner tonight. Looks like pasta may be on the menu.
So....thats my day, but the sun is shining so that helps.

Wanted to stop by and thank you for the advice posted on my threadI've duly ordered a flask from amaz*n with vouchers - i couldn't get the ones you suggested but did order a 'food flask' so it is wide at the top and has its own little spoon which i'm bound to forget to pack
and i took your advice of ordering a smaller one rather than the big thing i'd intended to get - at the end of the day i'll be carrying it to work with me so the smaller one id much more logical for this and i can always order another if i feel it will be of use and when i've got the vouchers in place too
Hope your clients pay you soon and hope that the collections place is sorted out as to who has the debt. Again i can't offer any suggestions on this other than what you've already done (posted on another board).
Rightio must dash to workBut really massive thanks for the input - when i spend any money now, even free vouchers, i want to make sure i am getting the right thing and not wasting money so although to others it may seem a small thing to me it is really appreciated x
You are more than welcome !!! Lovely to hear form you !! Hope it does the trick and you enjoy your lunches !
Oh ...........and I would lose the spoon, totally useless with things like that xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I don't envy you the stress of driving on a nearly empty tank. I go into a cold sweat thinking about it!
Another frenetic day for you there. I'm sorry the dratted clients haven't paid up. It puts you in a difficult place that you don't deserve to be.
I have a recipe for a really cheap, make in two minutes, fail safe cake - absolutely delicious and perfect for lunch boxes if you need economy food.
