I don't envy you the stress of driving on a nearly empty tank. I go into a cold sweat thinking about it!
Another frenetic day for you there. I'm sorry the dratted clients haven't paid up. It puts you in a difficult place that you don't deserve to be.
I have a recipe for a really cheap, make in two minutes, fail safe cake - absolutely delicious and perfect for lunch boxes if you need economy food.

Cake sounds fab, cheap quick and easy !!! If Mr Pinot were here, he would say it sounds just like me !! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I dont know where he has been hiding, but it appears he didnt choose to use the lovingly constructed ramp Mr Pinot made for him !
I heard a very strange noise about 6pm last night and then the pitter patter of footsteps above the kitchen ceiling, running up and down the room. My first thought was that we had yet another bird, but I couldnt see how it could have fallen in through the hole in the roof and all the way downstairs ? My parents were there at the time and I am sure from the look on their faces they think we have a rat or mice. At this point I am hoping that it is only a bird or the squirrel. The noise stopped and then a little later the girls were in the garden pointing and Mr Squirrel was running up and down up and down the guttering the entire width of the house. Every now and then he popped his head over the top and looked at them and then kept up his mammoth excersie regime. Working on the assumption that the noise indoors was the squirrel I can only assume there is a hole of some sort somewhere near the guttering and he is living in there. What he is doing for food I have no idea. But I am a bit concerned he may be causing more damage. They are notorious for causing lots of damage to houses arent they ?!! The birds have caused enough already, I dont fancy any more !
Mr Pinot is due home next Friday now, I think I will add Squirrel Duties to his list of jobs unless I come up with a grand plan in the meantime. xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hey..what have I missed??? Wildlife happenings in the PG household..sounds interesting!
Sorry I have been away..work (urrgh) and a wee camping holiday. Finances not too horrendous although I did miss a payment on the BC so my promo rate has gone and it's suspended... Read the letter in a stack of back post today...balls. So need to rectify that. Just take my eye off the ball, stop doing the PADs and here we go again!!
Hope alls good with you and yours...
