I'm not changing supplier for the time being. We don't have broadband here yet, a little rural and behind the times. We've only had gas for about ten years....

:eek: OMG are you still using oil lamps as well !!!

Oh no not another bird, maybe when it saw you hanging out of the window it thought you were trying to learn how to fly and came around to teach you how. ;)

Either that or its heard how lovely it is in your house and wanted to come round to join the menagerie.

Did you ever find out if that Squirrel left after?

Good luck with the dreaded BT, mine, touch wood, seems to work pretty well, although I can never sign into my BTFON account when out and about.

Ooh its so lovely to be back on here. I cant believe how much I have missed everyone. Isnt it funny how you can become so attached to something and to people you have never ever met !! :rotfl:

I have been really busy though unfortunately, and I am being very slow in catching up with the diaries but I will get there in the end.

Nothing much to report today, I had a lovely evening with my friend last night, we sank a couple of bottles of posh wine :o between us, and DD2 and I stayed the night. She made a lovely breakfast for us before we headed home and collected DD1 from her friends who was buzzing soooo much about her day / evening at Wembley last night ! Lucky lucky girl !! Homework was finished, stadiums and lolly stick sculptures complete with silly eyes and hats were glued and stuck together . Not quite sure what they have exactly learnt from it all other than watching mum clear up the mess that has been left behind !! ;)

I have done a few loads of washing, cleared up the bird poo, hoovered and had a quick muck out of DD2s room today as well as a bit of ironing and rustled up a dinner fromt he suspiciously empty cupboards. No mouldy bread though Mr B you will be pleased to here I'm sure ! Well not today anyway !! ;).

I am now determined to get back into ebay , as obviously that has all gone rather awry since the lack of internet. I have two parcels wrapped and ready to take to the post office tomorrow. There is £120 in the Paypal account, the rest is hiding in what is affectionately known as the Magic Drawer from previous sales ! I keep hopign then each time I open it the notes will ahve multiplied but so far its not happened. I msut pray harder ! we have an item of furntiure waiting to be paid for and collected which sold for £40 and I have loads more to list.

Managed to speak to Mr Pinot quickly this evening. He is tired and fed up and wishing he was back at home . Its a short job away for him considering how long he is often away for, but the job has been quite troublesome and he has another two more weeks left on it before he can head home. :( He will be exhausted when he flys in, the day before my nieces wedding. I just hope he can stay awake on the big day !

Checked the bank account in the hope we had been paid but to no avail. We were due £2600 by Friday but nothing appeared. The bank accounts, both personal and business are looking rather sorry for themselves and the big business loan is due out tomorrow. I need to come up with a contingency plan to pay that in my sleep somehow !!!

Anyway I am heading off to bed now, last night was a 2am finish and I am suffering for it now in my old age !

I have written a big long list for tomrrow to try and complete. DD1 back at school and DD2 is off out with some friends for the day. I have Docs and hospital and work to fit in before collecting her at 3pm, so will have to get a shifty on to get everything done !

Oh and Piq.................. the Bum in the Air , as pretty a picture as I'm sure it conjures up ,was an absolute necessity !! I could only drum up a signal whilst lying with the ipad at a very peculiar angle which caused much hilarity all week. :rotfl:Thankfully Mr Pinot didnt have to suffer the sight, which I am sure he is eternally grateful for !!

On that note I am off to bed.......................Night all ! x

I thought you were going to bed Granny !!! did you change your mind ?!!

I think you may have a point actually, the birds are obviously drawn to me having seen the antics going on from the top floor windows and think I am a long lost relation !! :rotfl:Oh and the squirrel, I have no idea where it is ! I keep expecting it to pop up at the foot of the bed and say hello !!

I hope Piq has put the pennies in her meter and stocked up on the oil as well , as we would miss her terribly if she disappeared into the deepest darkest rural depths of the back of beyond !!

Wow you've been busy. I'm exhausted reading all your news. Or maybe I'm exhaused because it's 5:20 am and I've been awake since 3!

Just a suggestion (about a fortnight too late I know!) but couldn't you have bought a dongle while your internet was down? We are stupidly rural here and our broadband failed altogether a few years ago when BT moved all the phone wires (thanks BT) so we manage just with a TMobile dongle now. It's lightening fast and we don't notice any difference, other than we can't watch TV or much Youtube via internet. Ours is a fancy set-up that works three computers at once and costs £10 per month, but you can get them on PAYG and just use them when needed. Much safer than hanging out of upstairs windows!

Also, do you realise that you are only £41.73 away from having paid off £15,000!!!! Well done x

Wow really ?!! No, the dimwit that I am, I had'nt actually noticed that !! I will have hit that target by tomorrow as I have today raided the VAT Account to pay the Bank Loan as it was the only way I could pay it until the little Bu**ers ( affectionately known as our Cients) pay us. Grr !!! I will update my sig tomorrow again ! :j

You are right Mrs Happy, we could have got a dongle. we did have one and gave it back to Vodafone when Mr Pinot got his I pad as he needed that for work and as it had 3g on it, we were at least able to use that, or he was able to anyway. It didnt really cross my mind to get one whilst we were in the BT predicament, I suppose I just didnt want to spend anymore money although I shoudl have made BT pay....but I am currently working and looking forward to the measly compenstion BT are going to offer us for this mess ! :D

Well today is miserable and horrible, but with internet and no children I am going full steam ahead to try and catch up.

Docs this morning for more drugs and MRI results. They werent great news, he has printed all the burbles out for me and I am trying to decifer them. It looks like an op though which we have been trying to avoid, so he has now requested an urgent appointment with the neurosurgeon. Cant wait !!

DD1 went off to school.....late again ! Little monkey, but has apparently done very well in a french test according to a text I have just received. I guess she thinks that all will be forgiven now then !

Listed 3 items on Ebay for a week.

Written a letter to Westcot re the MBNA debt that has apparently now been passed to Rockwell and them also denying receiving payments for the last 5 months. I was about to print and run down to the Post Office but I have decided to post on another site for some advice just to make sure I am handling things the right way. Its always good to get another opinion. :D I am totally baffled as to who now owns this debt. Arrow Global, Westcott, Rockwell , Joe BLoggs ??

Spoken to the bank who have confirmed the payments went to Westcot and the times and dates I paid them and the times and dates they received them. I need to go into a branch though unfortunately to get confirmaiton in writing of this, which is a pain really.

Raided the VAT account to pay the bill for the loan as mentioned above. Things are getting very tight, DD2s school trip is due to be paid tomorrow £300, but I havent got the money hiding anywhere. I should have, if people had paid us. The F&F fund is totally depleted after recent events. Hopefully a miracle will happen overnight and someone will pay and I can then pay for her school trip.

Spoken to my mum, Dad was taken ill last week, didnt mention this in the diary but there was a fair bit of to ing and fro ing and worry with him. He seems a little better today so thats a result.:D

Mr Pinot has just arrived at his next location after 3 hours sleep and a 4 hour bus journey. :(

I have run out of printer paper so need to go and buy some and also post the EBay parcels off that are sitting in the car and then off to collect DD2 from her day out with friends. She is getting so grown up now, I hate it !!

Right postie just been, but there was nothing exciting in there other than a letter from NW Credit Card to say I am £0.94 in credit !! Thats only because the little so and sos forced us to put the balance on a bank loan, so its not as good as it looks ! :o

Hope everyone is having a good day xxx
