Hi Doll.. Re: Infinity, on of my work friends who lives in the Midlands got it, and they sent her a modem thing and it would work fine for awhile and then go completely down. After having BT come out 2x BT finally realised they didnt have a modem that supported infinity and had to give a whole different model.

This is my worry NL, that it will work for a while then disappear completely. I'm not holding my breath that it will work for long I must admit !!

The CEOs office are supposedly now dealing with the complaint as I have been left with a dodgy phone line now, and funnily enough DD1 apparently Tweeted her irritation at BT. Her complaint being that they arrived unannounced, drank all our coffee, declared they couldnt fix it and never returned !! BT responded immediately offering their assistance !! It did make me laugh that a 14 year old got her complaint noticed yet its taken us grown ups 3 weeks !!!

The model is nearly finished, a few extras needed. Im not sure it looks that much like the Olympic Stadium , but its a damn good effort !! I would post a pic if I could !

Off to a stay over at a friends tonight, her hubby is away also, so we are having a night in with the kids, well minus my DD1 who is still doing her thing at the Summertime Ball !! Oh how lucky she is !!

I will see you all tomorrow. Have a lovely evening xxx

Aaargh !!! Another bird has made its way into the house, this time in DD2s room ! Thankfully she was here and as she was braver than me she has managed to get it back out. The hole is now stuffed with two pillows and we are off to clear up the mess it made during its visit !! I really need to get this blasted roof fixed and the holes re plastered ! x

    Hi Pinot,

I'm very sorry to hear that you have another bird in your house.

I'm pleased that you've got broadband again as it seemed strange not hearing from you.

I had to smile with you posting a message the other day hanging out of the window. ;)

Have a good week and I hope you get somewhere with the solicitor's letter you have to send.

Thankyou Mr B, it was very strange not posting for me and not hearing from you all !!

We have cleared up from the dreaded bird incident now thankfully, he did make alot of mess quite literally !

Yes it was very entertaining hanging out of the window, DD1 got most annoyed with though me when I suggested she do the same to try and get her Geography homework done during half term ! Shes obviously way too cool for that , unlike her mother !;)

I think I am in for a particularly busy week, but will keep you all updated of my antics !

I am slowly making my way round the diaries, so I will get to you soon Mr B. I hope you are taking it easy though (ish ) x

I have been in two minds as to changing my internet supplier. Reading the problems that you have have had has decided me....For a couple of pounds saving it's not worth the hassle.

If I hung out a window to get a signal I know I'd fall out. Clumsy should have been my middle name!

Now that would have been a sight to behold, but well worth witnessing I'm sure !!! :rotfl:;)

DD2 said she has had quite enough of seeing me, bum in air ,splatted against the French Doors in desperation of obtaining that signal to last her a lifetime ! Its been an entertaining few weeks here thats for sure !!

Not sure who your supplier currently is, but maybe you are best off staying where you are for now !! x

I can assure you I wasnt quite so polite or gracious last Thursday evening during my scream up at the poor little BT Man, but it did seem to do the trick as we were back on line the very next day !! :D

    Take Care Mr B xx

:eek: to the bum in air picture!

I'm not changing supplier for the time being. We don't have broadband here yet, a little rural and behind the times. We've only had gas for about ten years....
