Payment Protection Insurance (PPI)protects against unemployment. Life Insurance cover is in case of death.
No similarity between the two types of policy( or possibility of a successful mis-selling complaint for you).

I've just come off a thread where someone detailed a claims company trying to generate a fraudulent complaint against a small local firm. So, i apologise in advance for my response.....

Do you actually have a reason for complaint or are you just trying it on?

I'm trying to chase up my mortgage + loan policy details from 2001 with regards PPI. I have no paperwork. I was given several phone numbers after calling into my Northern Rock branch but both require a mortgage account number, which I don't have. I wrote to Cardif Pinnacle after finding their address through the NRAM website but they have responded by telling me to contact the company that sold me the policy... Basically, I'm struggling to locate my policy details and would appreciate some advice as how to do this. Thanks.
