Got my offer through yesterday, pretty much bang on 4 months from me sending the form back. Says they'll pay out within 28 days of receiving my details (which I popped in the post straightaway). Yay!

How long did it take them to pay after you accepted offer?

I finally recieved a full refund payed into my bank yesterday. It has taken 7 months since the day i sent back the original form so dont give up, they will get round to you eventually.
Actual payment took roughly 28 days from the date i sent back the letter of acceptance to the offer. Thank you at long last Northern Rock.

Hi, just found this thread, we had a peronal loan from Northen Rock for about six months in 2006, which was refinanced with a better deal after six months, we did not realise this loan had PPI added, but when i found the only sheet of paperwork on this loan we have, and studying it, i found the details of the PPI,
NRAM contacted us in early March i think, and we have just had the offer letter, which seems pretty quick to me, started a seperate PPI claim in Jan this year, with help from this forum, (thanks guys) which is still ongoing.

We have just had the offer letter, the amount is over 100% more than the total premiums paid for PPI cover during the six months we had the loan, which sounds good, is there any way i can check this offer?
am asking NRAM for a detailed statement which they mention is avaiable, which hopefully will cast more light on things.;)

Rang NRAM who said a detailed statement is just details of each payment.

Cash from NRAM went in to my account June 1st. Waited 7 months for offer to come through, then only a week for them to pay out! At least they can do something right.:j

Hello on the 04/03/2012 I placed a post on regarding ppi payback from NRAM but I bit the bullet and sent the letter back and was paid in just over 2 weeks no problems!! just thought I would let you all who are concerned know.

Posted my acceptance form back on 23 May, and received the money in to my account this morning. I'm really impressed with NRAM. Sent my initial form back on 26 January, so just over 4 month turnaround from start to finish. Not bad at all considering I didnt think I could claim at all!

You receive total payments plus interest back.

Another post just to support the fact it's worth waiting out. We sent our form back in NOVEMBER and got a letter out of the blue two weeks ago saying they would repay us our PPI + Interest.

Sent the reply back next day and payment has gone direct into the bank today. Far quicker than the 28 days I was expecting.
