Oh no, (((hugs))) Amie
Hope everything turns out good for you. I;m sure you know this, but if you stay calm and are polite and nice to whoever answers the phone they are much more likely to help you and do what they can for you than if you kick and scream. Not that you would, of course, just saying
People who scream and shout just annoy workers and make themselves less likely to get the outcome they want

Afternoon All
I had a great day yesterday - as I do not work Wednesday I was at home with the LO's. We played out in the snow but DD (17months) does not understand she needs to keep her gloves on.
I have just been for my lunch time wander, and have found some amazing shops, but I think I will need to ban all you old stylers form them. I work in South Kensington, and walked up towards Harrods, and found Kitchen shops that were just amazing. (and expensive). I have never seen such a range of toasters, juicers BM etc. I did see a glass steamer to go on the top of saucepans but at £42 I managed to resist.
Nothing too exciting happening today - toddler made bread rolls for lunch - they seem a bit on the heavy side.
Hugs to all

Afternoon everyone :j
I'm at work - but only 20 minutes left to go..........
I've really fallen off the OS wagon lately, I mean it's January and we've had no money, but OS has been more to do with necessity than choice this month, luckily February's a short month - so hopefully I can get back on it.
Plus's: 500 Piggypoints, 933 Nectar Points, 506 clubcard Points - I'm hoping to not touch any of these all year - so they can be put to good use at ChristmasUsing the new knitting magazine, I've finally taught myself how to knit, and am currently in the middle of making a gorgeous scarf for DD. Followed by one for each female member of the family (there's only 3
) for Christmas pressies.
Minuses: £464 car bill  , desparately need new dining table and chairs (ours keeps falling apart), need new fridge/freezer (ours is rusty and not at all efficient), need new tumble drier (sorry but as I work during the day I can't live without mine), need new hoover (our clutch has gone) and anything else that crops up
Just feeling a little bit sorry for myself. Anyway tea tonight is chilli and cornbread (darn I knew I forgot something this morning - get the mince out of the freezer  ) oh well that can defrost in the sink. I might treat myself to a little bottle of wine
(((((hugs))))) to everyone that needs/wants themSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
Well the snow is melting very slowly so there's still plenty for DD's to play in when they get home - they can't wait to bounce all the snow off the trampoline - but they want to go sledging too!
I've been very good today -cleaned the fridge and freezer and cleared the junk that lurks on the top - washed down all the paintwork in the kitchen, sorted out the cupboard that I can only reach when standing on a ladder and cleaned out the larder.
Moved onto the bedroom where I've cleared all the clothes I no longer wear/want into piles of ebay or charity shop, re organsied the shelves at the side - cleared under the bed and reorganised my fabric stash, packed up all the chrsitmas cards/papers/bows etc that were left, started a new pressie box - 5 items so far and made a note in my diary what I've got so I don't go duplicating. Sorted through my dressing table and binned all the cosmetics/lotions and potions that have been open for too long and made a list of what I've got stashed away (I have a habit of buying moisturiser when I don't need it).
I've managed to create 4 bags of rubbish - one bag for the charity shop and a box of stuff to list on ebay!
Going to down a very quick cup of tea before heading out to get DD's....tonights tea is pork sausagemeat (reduced to 19p in Mr T's after xmas) meatballs in tomato sauce with pasta and salad. Followed by banana bread from the BM with custard...should warm them up a bit!

I have just managed to get through on the special British Airways emergency line and spoke to a nice chap, sounded like he had had a bad day, he told me that flights to Orlando will not be effected !!! i dont know why as they are still run by BA, they are not using any different cabin crew. I think i am just going to keep an eye on the news ect and when the strike happens next week i can check with teletext to see if the Orlando flights are still going ahead.... even though he has told me that the Orlando flights arnt being effected.. i know im going to still worry.slimmimg world weight loss 6lbs
