csarina - My plan (I live in a 1-bed flat with a kitchen at one end of the living room) is to move to the sofa-bed in the living room when I have a guest, while they sleep in my bedroom. That way I can get up and potter about in the kitchen in the morning without needing to wake the guest or feeling like I can't move around in my own flat!
