Glad you managed to get through Amie. I expect you will worry right up until you are in the aircraft. No point saying don't worry as I know if it were me I certainly would.

    Take care

    afternoon everyone:hello:

    Happy Birthday to Tinkerbelluk:bdaycake:

Gosh got held up on MSN late last nite with some naughty OSrs;) but fun!

Had a trip to Ikea again as I want to buy a new leather sofa/chair but I cant decide which one to get!! They havea 3 seater brown leather, which I prefer - but its quite long - and as my house is not very big - Im trying to obey the rules of "House Doctor" and not have furniture TOO big so as to make room look smaller and less space - they do have a two seater one but you cant lie down on it properly and have a nice doze sometimes!
There's another cheaper 3 seater which is ideal in length and would fit nice BUT I still prefer the other one!:o So do I buy what suits the room or what I like???? DECISIONS DECISIONS!!! ive looked at these so many times I still cant make up my mind:rolleyes: - decisions seem to get more difficult as you get older dont they? I really hate the idea of getting the wrong stuff and taking it all back!:rotfl:

Swept garden of leaves and general tidy up. really needs a makeover out there new lawn and patio. Think I will apply for house doctor programme and get it done without thinking about it:rotfl:

Got a bargain buy in asda this morn - they have the amoy wok noodles medium) reduced from £1.18 TO 58P - so i got 2 pkts which resulted in an 86p cashback! Result!

Pooky - love yr trampoline - i want one of those but would fill my garden:o
amie999 - phew, glad yr flights not affected!

taplady - which feng shui book did you get? Im thinking of getting the Sarah Shurety one on Amazon as they never seem to have it in the library.

tiredmum - so want to move too? Im the same want to move but where?
actually meant to ask pennypincher yesterday who mentioned moving abroad - where are u thinking of going?

kyle - well done on weight loss!

Enjoy your Burns Night all those celebrating!

Hi everyone, I hope today finds you well and <<<<hugs>>>> to all that need one.
This week has been a rollercoaster of hospital visits and looking after the kids and I think we as a family have all been to hell and back.
OH was initially diagnosed as having had a heart attack after the bloods came back but on further tests and an echo they have discovered that his lungs were full of blood at the time which triggered a very bad angina attack which caused the abnormal rhythm of the heart.
They have decided to discharge him this afternoon with a view to pulling him in for further tests and an angiogram over the next few weeks as on out patient.
When he phoned an told me I made him put on the Doctor as I thought he was discharging himself, LOL.
So one big sigh of relief at the mo in the Smokey household, allthough I am worried that they haven't found out why the lungs were filled with blood, and that this is not going to happen to him again.
Still they are the experts and I have to trust in their judgement.
I am so relieved that it wasn't as they first thought as I really thought on Monday we were going to loose him. I can't wait for the kids to see him either as they have missed him terribly.
    Smoky. xxx

    Afternoon everyone!
    Hope we are all good.

Been a busy bunny again today, got lots of washing done dried and put away, made bread and 2 large hm pizzas, been shopping and had a quick look over budget which seems to be on track this month, so i must have looked at it wrong!!

Iv have just been asked by someone at school about my MSN name which has `proud to be dealing with my debts` in my name, asking what it was all about, she knows im on a dmp, so just told her it was because im happy that i know i will be debt free in a few years and i am proud that im dealing with it, her reply was your mad!! I wouldnt go without just because i didnt have the money!! I bit my tongue as this is the lady who is claiming incapacity benifit at its higest level but still plays netball 2 times a week and works cash in hand looking after a elderly lady, even though she cant walk apparently and has just recived her blue badge for the car!! She loves rubbing my nose in the fact that she is going abroad again and tells me what shes spent ect ect, i doesnt bother me as much as it used to since she told me when talking about credit cards `ill spend it if they give it me because they cant have back what i havent got`!!!
Im just glad that one day i will owe nobody nothing and then i will be able to go on hoilday and enjoy the finer things in life, without getting it to debt over it.

    Sorry moan over!!!

Glad to hear the flights to orlando are still on aimee!!
Hugs to all who want one((((((((()))))))))))

I can confirm that a hairdressers 5 minutes is like their 1/2 inch!! Only 20 mins late out of the salon so had to ring the school to have kids kept in!!

Never mind - hair looks good and only 10 inches shorter :D Mr TM is currently on his way upstairs and about to walk through the door of the study.... I'm awaiting his reaction cos he likes long hair and he didn't know I was having it cut :rotfl: Anyway, the boys like it :j

Amie399 DO NOT READ THIS POST FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR SANITY

Although it's Easyjet I'm having problems with, not BA.

OH was due to land in fifteen minutes, however as his plane has not even departed from Stansted on its way to Basel, I somehow don't think that's going to happen... Nobody has even given them a rough idea of when they may get to fly, although they have kindly told them that depending on what time the incoming flight lands, there's a possibility that they may not get to fly at all    Once he arrives (if he ever does) he still has to drive from Stansted to Sheffield tonight :( I just want him home :(

Tried to phone EJ to see if I can find something out, but their customer services number has changed from the one that's on the website, and although it suggests several 0901 numbers to call depending upon your query, there is no customer services number, apparently I have to email

:( sorry not OS but I need a moan and OH isn't around (obviously!!)
