  • morning all,
No snow again, just loads of ice.

Wanted to pop on before wo*k to say hi, (((hugs))) warm ones to anyone who needs one or wants one.

    Happy birthday to Tinkerbell.

Beef tonight, but as its only a small joint I might just cook it (not SC) for the hour its meant to take.

Must go, take care and drive safely - it seems icy out there BBxx

Blimey! 27 posts at 7:27 (probably more now 'cause I haven't refreshed)
Had to chuckle at the nightowls at the beginning - I dread to think what the story is behind Nelski and a flower bed....
House is desperately in need of a blessing - chaos has taken over as every ounce of energy has been used parceling ebay sales for the past few days. I must remember not to list so many things at once!!! It's well worth taking the time to package well though as I've had some lovely feedback again - I love reading the feedback, makes it feel worthwhile.
Today I shall be buying my dishcloths and freezer bags as well as nosing at the reduced floor at lakeland. I can honsetly say I would prefer to be getting the house straight than spending the day in Cardiff! No doubnt the urge to clean will have worn off by the time I can do it tomorrow, lol.
    Anyways, best crack on.
Wishing you all a good day,
    Kaz x
PS edited to say "Happy Birthday Tinkerbelluk"
Westy - My nan has one of those necklace button things too and it has been a lifesaver for her on more than one occasion - I would certainly recomend them.
Edited again to say - Nelski, if you can help me get my hands on the Welsh Rugby team then I'll certainly love to have you show me the ropes :D
Queenie - the anti bac cloths are 2nd pack half price. You and Penny pincher would love the Cardiff store - a whole floor of reduced items, BIG reductions ;)
Bargain Rzl.... dare I admit that I've not come across the Cardiff TKmax???? (nor have i been in the HUGE new primark!!!!) In my defence, not spending on clothes is even more MS than buying bargains :D
I really need to get dressed or I'll be in Cardiff in my bundies!!! BYE!!!!!!!!
    January '06 Grocery Challenge (4th - 31st) £320.
    Week 1 - £73.99 Week 2 £5.10 (so far :p )
Someone burst my bubble and I lost the plot so no idea what I spent now... :(I will try to work it out.
    Other Jan :- Petrol £20.41, Clothes £8.50, House £3.

  • Morning all :hello:

Well, you are a lot of busy bees! Page 2 already (probably page 3 by the time I've typed this and believe me, I don't belong on page 3! ;) )

Happy birthday tinkerbell, Bellsbells welcome, Shirley good luck with the promotion, Westy what a shock for your poor grandma. I hope she is feeling much better now. Crawleygirl fingers crossed for you.

DD is so excited about her footie tournament today that she couldn't sleep so climbed in beside me last night. So I didn't sleep. Fingers crossed that she doesn't let in too many goals. DS and I will be there to cheer the team along.

W**k today. Hope the roads are clear out in the wilds as I have never driven on icy roads before. (Pathetic I know, but since I bought my car the weather has been mild - we have never had snow and very little ice.)

Slainte mhar to those celebrating Burns Night tonight. Got the haggis and neeps. I have to peel the spuds (the worst job in the world next to ironing in my book) but will do that after the footie tournament. No whisky though as I'm not much of a whisky hand but can drink it when I absolutely have to. ;)

Have a thrilling thursday everyone. x

  • Morning Everyone

Hope everyone is having a good start to their day?

Its freezing cold here and the roads are like sheets of glass. I'm going to leave as late as possible for work in the hope that the roads will 'defrost'.

Plans for today include w*** and then aerobics later on. The healthy eating thing seems to be working - lost 2lb last week and I 'cheated' and had wine and chips!! My tummy is actually a little flat for once :rotfl:

Drive carefully if its icy where you are.

    Have a good day xxx
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!

    Morning All

Been snowing here again. Not much and it's all turned to thick ice now. Took 20 minutes to defrost my car this morning, so I was late - what a shame!!!

Mum's op went ok, but they kept her waiting 4 hours before having it done and she was meant to be first on the list. Nan is driving me nuts already and I've only been on my own with her for one evening. Made dinner last night, did the washing up, drying putting away. Fed the dog. And this morning I've given doggie his tablets. My neighbour's going over to see to Nan.

After work, I've got to get my head lights alined on my car, then off to the hospital to see Mum, before going home to check on Nan, then back to work to interview Ann Widdecombe. Then back home to cook dinner - I've no idea what, as I've not had a chance to see what we've got in.

    Hope everyone's ok
