Large box arrived with a very nice leather "cola cube" small wallet and grey linen gift bag. Guys i was working it out, using the wh smith magazine deal 4 mags for a tenner, hence it seemed more expensive, now i have worked it out, not really sure what to do, may get 100 worth in 2 go's *shrugs*

I returned a pair of boots in store as they were to narrow. I paid £55 cash and £20 voucher for them. I was refunded £75 :-D

I want to swap/return some Westferry boots in a shop. The despatch note shows £39 (no mention of any gift cards on note), will I get that on a gift card, or will it be the £59 (money I paid + £20 elle gift card)? Any idea?

Missed out a bit here I think. I tried to buy a £20 giftcard with a £20 elle voucher and a message comes up saying that I cannot purchase a giftcard with the elle voucher ??

Any one else had this? Am I doing something wrong or have they become wise?

Yeah I ordered 2 for presents, they look great on website but very flimsy when arrived. I wouldnt buy, Going to try and return for something else.

I bought a pair of shoes at £59 in the sale, used the £20 welcome code and the £20 Elle card so paid £19 on my credit card.

When they arrived they were way too small (KG - seems they are smaller made) so I returned them to the store.

She refunded £39 to my credit card so got the full £20 for Elle back. The invoice that came made no mention of the Elle card - just £39 paid.

A more savvy cashier may question it though.
