i got email regards 50 pound gift card and blah blah that it will be 30 pounds, I was told over the phone by cs that since I had ordered before in time they will honour my order, I have sent email back lets see, as I have paid 3.80 for mag then 4 quid for p+p. They could have send an email and asked for customers choice.

Can you imagine you buy a car and use gift cards etc etc would the garage let you have car and take wheels off. Stupid of this company to do that.

    Dear Mr G,

Thank you so much for the wonderful offer you have done with the Elle magazine - unfortunatly, because your shoes would only fit dolly style people my shoes didn't fit! As a concequence, I returned them.

Your lovely shop assistant, was so busy chatting with her colleagues, that she instead of refunding me £15 and a £20 elle card, gave me £35 cash back..

    Effectively £20 profit.

I am so glad this has happened, and would like to take the opportunity to thank you - because you have treated me to a pair of shoes that a normal person can wear elsewhere!!

    Thats right, free shoes woohoo.

I'm so glad, because although your shoes are lovely, there far over priced.

    Thanks again,

    NG x

The welcome code is off a £50 spend. Could be that.

Maybe - but I'm trying to buy two pairs at £39 each?!

I agree they should have told us about the reduction rather than sending out a lesser value card. Can anyone who appeals please post their results. The more I think about it, the more annoyed I am? Surely sending out a product of lesser value to what you ordered without any notification breeches some distance selling rules? It wasn't our fault they didn't rectify a loophole grrrrrr.

Got my card today and only £30 credit :(, just registered it on my boyfriends account so hopefully use the welcome code if not may give the gift card to my friend for xmas.

If i have registered it on his account does this mean i now can only use it online or can it still be used in a store??

    For me yes -

    Your order
    £95.00LOVISA x1
    Subtotal£95.00
    VAT£12.50
    Delivery£4.00
    Gift Card£20.00(************)
    Promo-£20.00
    TOTAL£59.00

Just had a new code emailed to me by KG for 25% off. It's better for me as I am spending £95 this time. The code is on the voucher board and on HUKD and is working along with the Elle card.
