    Hi

Thanks Penny. I have just checked on the internet and our recycling centre takes 1 and 2.

I have just looked at something which is 5!! What can I do with anything that isn't 1 and 2 (pressume the land fill is the only option).

sorry didnt see this so i started a thread sorry ...can you refreeze chicken if you have defrosted uncooked chicken cooked it can you freeze cooked chicken ...i'm attempting batch cooking this weekend and we kinda eat alot of chicken

Yes, you'll be fine. The basic rule is that you can freeze once in each state, so...

    1. Raw chcicken

    2. You can freeze it ONCE

    3. Defrosted chicken - MUST cook it FIRST

    4. Cooked chicken - you can freeze it ONCE

I want to make an extra cauli cheese for the freezer, I was thinking of making it up and then freezing it before doing the 'cook in the oven' part. Does anyone know if it will be ok when defrosted?
    Thanks

I don't know - we don't do ours in the oven. We steam the cauliflower, make the cheese sauce, mix the two, sprinkle more cheese on top and brown under the grill.

My cauliflower cheese always disintergrates when I freeze it, but still tastes ok

I have some large double yolker eggs, how long should I boil them for to make soft yolks?

I attempted it for lunch this morning but forgot to look at the clock and it came out hard boiled.

The eggs are about as big as ya can get a chicken egg,if that helps?

Why do carnations last so long? Weeks after the rest of the bunch died the carnations are still going strong.

    Hi all
    a couple of quick questions.

    1) made some stuffed peppers from a Nick Nairn recipe.. yummy. Unfortuately did not read the recipe right and I have loads of the rice stuffing mix left. Any ideas for what else I could do to use it, apart from buy more peppers? Could I freeze the excess rice mixture?

2)Anyone know if the spare pot for the Lakeland yogurt maker would fit the Rosemary Conley yoghurt maker?

    thanks in advance :D

Not sure, but I have noticed they are very hardy. My mum has been able to grow carnations from ones she had in a vase. She noticed a few of the carnations had started sprouting little roots..stuck them in a wee pot for a while with some compost and bingo, some new carnations in her garden.. very moneysaving too cos the bunch was a gift. So whatever it is that keeps them growing, its obviously pretty powerful!

Sure somebody else will know, this place is like the oracle :T
