    Sure :)

The usual rules apply - the food must be thoroughly reheated throughout.

That means a minimum temperature of 72°C everywhere. i.e. piping hot.

    Hi

Could anyone tell me how I should dispose of this?

I was sure that tipping it down the sink isn't the right thing to do.

Our recycling centre has a container in which to dispose of oil. It was originally for motor oil, but I checked and they take kitchen oil, too.

    Hi

I would like to start recycling our plastics (we recycle everything else). Our Council don't collect plastics from us, but our local recycling centre takes them.

I am a bit confused about what can be recycled! Someone told me that there are 2 types of plastic and that you have to separate them. How do I know which type an item is?

Our main plastics are milk bottles, yogurt pots and ornage juice, for example.

    Thanks

There are lots of different plastics. If you look at the bottom, they'll have a recycling symbol with a number in it:

The number will define what it is. Our council (collection or recycle centre) will collect 1, 2 and 3. This includes milk bottles, drink bottles, and some yogurt pots.
