please can someone explain what type of payments can you make with the ryanair passport card to clear after you have made a flight booking with it to avois charges- ie can you ma a payment onlie with it to a 3d party as the example of a big shopping is not alwais the ideal solution0
-
And it seems they do not include all airports, for example I can't find memmingen even when booking in the other directions.0

this is absurd
i live in dublin and yesterday used my euro pre-paid mastercard to book a one way from dublin-leeds.... no charges.
i need to now book coming back but this time one way with 3 passengers. even going through the ryanair ireland site to do this it straight away changes the currency to sterling and then wont let me complete the booking using my irish pre paid mastercard with my irish address. the payment page says it cant complete and that my address must match that of my card which it clearly does.
any ideas how to get around this as i dont fancy paying 3 sets of charges when im using my euro card and dont even live in the uk?
OK try this as a solution. book it through https://www.opodo.co.uk it will charge you £10 booking fee for everyone as opposed to £24,0 -
What a crazy post...........starting.......I read somewhere......that a man down the pub knew a man who's brother told him.....and so on and on...............The card holder that pays for the flights does NOT have to be travelling with the other people on the booking,or even travelling at all.
Of course it doesn't... I usually buy flights for all my familiy with my own credit card, why should the card holder have to travel???
When buying easyjet for example (for me or others) I use my dad's, which is a VISA electron and does not have any charges...0 -
I read somewhere, that, if you book flights with the new Ryan Air card, it is only the card holder who doesn't have to pay for the charge of £12 return. If you are boking for a family of 4, it is only free for the registered card holder, and not free for the other 3 family members on the booking? Has anyone booked for more than one person on the booking? Was it free for all the people on the booking? Victor Kee. TwickenhamPolitical?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0

READ THIS GUYS:
We have got the Ryanair Cash passport card already. There is a Mastercard logo on it.
My wife was buying a ticket and she has chosen RYANAIR MASTERCARD. What she did not realise was that the 24 pounds charge was added for 2 ppl 2 ways!!! She did not realise that on the bottom of the drop down list was another card: "Ryanair Cash passport card"!!!!!! But transaction still went through and we have been charged!! This is disgrace. Do you think it is legal??
True is that Ryanair Cash passport card it is RYANAIR MASTERCARD. Is it not?? What is your view on that one?? Please let me know because I am furious. It is like living in a jungle without any laws.
Thanks,
Daniel0 -
I'm having trouble even obtaining one of these cards.I just can't get past the card authentication page.
I 've contacted Ryaniar and they want two forms of identification etc.
This is all a bit of an effort , I just hope its worth it !0 -

Not reading a website properly is perfectly legal, if not a bit silly.
What your paying for the final price is clearly indicated on the right hand side of the site.
I don't agree with the underhand tactics Ryanair are using to get more money, but you can't blame them for your wife's mistake on this occasion.0 -

The new Ryanair Cash Passport card is a new PRE paid Mastercard, the other Ryanair Mastercard is an ordinary credit card.
They are not the same cards. You can only get the 'free' booking fee with the prepaid one.0 -
I don't understand why anyone gives such an awful company any business. I wouldn't fly with Ryanair if they paid me. How can paying for your ticket be considered some kind of optional extra service?0
