Hope this doesn't give O'Leary any ideas!:A0 -

How on earth can Ryanair charge citizens of one EU country (the UK) a fee that does not apply to any other member state when buying exactly the same product?!
How on earth is Ryanair allowed to advertise fares on their front page which can only be obtained by applying for one of their own Mastercards which takes time to arrive (by when the advertised prices may have gone) and has lots of other charges and conditions associated with it?
Won't someone do something about this? Does EU or UK consumer law mean anything?!0 -
I've done a few tests, and it would seem that it is not an IP based system.
I doesn't matter if you are based in the UK or not, if you select UK from the drop down list, your charged.
Consequently, I know Neteller Prepaid mastercard doesn't check the address so you could putin whatever country you like, but i've heard that the Ryanair site is now declining these cards.0 -

Ryanair decided against charging to go to the toilet and instead have decided to try to reduce the number of toilets on each plane from three to one. One toilet shared by 200 passengers and 6 crew potentially. If that toilet is occupied by someone who is ill or breaks down, no toilet facilities at all. What a lovely airline!

It will always be extremely unlikely that Ryanair or any other airline will seriously mess with the more standard aspects of layout in aircraft like the 737-800 retrospectively. It would simply cost them too much to have the work retrospectively certified for airworthiness purposes in conjunction with Boeing.
The notional facility of just one toilet is also quite obviously insufficient on an aircraft planned to have over 190 passenger seats irrespective of the nonsense spouted by Ryanair and anyone else about opportunities for a revised layout presented by the (short) length of many of their flights. The inadequacy of just one onboard toilet is particularly a function of Ryanair operations because Ryanair cause people to spend more time standing seriously queueing in out of the way parts of airports without easy toilet facilities before they board compared to other airlines. It potentially would be a safety risk as you would always end up with the aisle blocked with trolleys and passengers dying for a pee all trying to head in the same direction despite the trolley obstructions. All too frequently one of the three onboard toilets becomes inoperative anyway which would leave precisely none as an alternative.
That one just ain't gonna happen, folks.0 -
I read somewhere, that, if you book flights with the new Ryan Air card, it is only the card holder who doesn't have to pay for the charge of £12 return. If you are boking for a family of 4, it is only free for the registered card holder, and not free for the other 3 family members on the booking? Has anyone booked for more than one person on the booking? Was it free for all the people on the booking? Victor Kee. Twickenham0
