I am still waiting for my previous employer to send my P45 as they still have to pay me my final pay.

So assuming you ticked Box B on the P46, you are likely to uderpay tax until it all gets sorted out with your previous employment.

Are you joking? You get your finally salary when you leave!

How long have you been left from the pervious job?

Your new job are now operating your tax/ni on a BR rate

I have not worked very much this tax year so I have not used up my tax free allowance yet so I should not paying much tax anyway.

but without a P45 your new job wont know that - you do not get tax free months you get it pro rata over the year

Not if they are following the P46 and Box B was ticked. They are required to operate the emergency code on a non-cumulative basis.

Okay I am also being paid from my previous job on a monday as I only left that job at the beginning of the October and they said will pay me tomorrow and send my p45 two weeks later. I started my current job 3 days after left my old job.

If you hand in a P45 to the new job and the date on it is 6 weeks or older they can not use it. A P45 is issued when you leave not 2 weeks later.
