You've just reminded me, I found a broken egg in a box of eggs this week. Worst of all it was the one time I didn't check before picking them up.
So thats 16p so far.0 -

'Ere, am I on me own 'ere?
Had left over mash and three rashers of bacon in the fridge, so for hubby and I's lunch I cooked the bacon and chopped it into little bits, heated the spud in the micro and mixed all together with some cheese. Then fried in two patties, so potato cakes I suppose. Served with scrambled last-of-the-eggs and two forgotten bread crusts toasted back to life. Himself declared it lovely :very much chuffed:0 -

I get stupidly happy as well. Our fridge is always near empty at the moment (bar obvious things like milk, eggs, cheese, mayo) so I'm obviously managing to use up veg in a timely fashion!February Grocery Challenge - £100.87/£180February Don't Throw Food Away Challenge - £0.60/£1.500 -

but i found some soup in my fridge i opened last week i'd never risk eating it now, i'd say it's about 25p's worthDEC GC £463.67/£450
