Can't really type much at the moment. have been signed off for 10 days. feels weird.

relief and guilt in equal measure.

Don't feel guilty babe - if you had broken your pelvis bone, for example, then you would also be signed off. It's just that when your head is a bit 'broken', other people can't physically see it, so there's a strange stigma that still exists about depression, anxiety etc. Not everyone feels that way though, I have had depression and I have nothing but empathy for people who are struggling x

As others have said, take a couple of days to chill out, then maybe start to think about stuff. Have you considered CBT? xx

  • They don't sign you off for no good reason Buffy. You take the time you need to get well. Sending lots and lots of love (from someone who's been there too) xxx

  • Also glad you have been signed off but think you should do nothing, basically. Don't replace work stress with what-to-do-next stress... just chill. When you've relaxed a bit you'll feel better and things will be clearer.

Glad you have been signed off. Please take the time to recharge your batteries. So only do the basics, like give your GPigs lots of cuddles and love. Oh and sleep. Try and eat healthy. Did the doctor give you anything for the monthly problems?

Don't feel guilty, you have had so much to deal with over the last few years, your body is telling you, you need to stop. So give yourself permission to stop.

  • Hello folks,

well I have had four days off.

It has been very odd. I played with my animals instead of cleaning them out super quick and getting on with something else. I have slept. I have been shopping just for fun. I went for a drive.

I know there will be people reading this who think diddums. what a lazy cow. To be honest I agree with them. I can't find it in to be anything else right now. This is a shock. but hey I am going with it.

I have so much to think about.

thank you for your lovely comments

you are NOT being a lazy cow - you are re-energising yourself and letting go of the stress.
