Hi Ts and welcome.
Mike St. H gives out the numbers and I`m sure he will be along shortly. Have you filed your petition yet or are you at the start of the process?1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

Hi everybody! It's Dr Nick!
Only kidding...but you Simpsons fans get that huh? Or maybe I'm just going bonkers, too much time on my hands as a 'bankie' these days!! You know, without the moral boosting letters and calls from the likes of Moorcroft et al to brighten my days
Sorry haven't been around lately...like most peeps I couldn't find our new home, doh. Still, found it now, so I'll be about more
Just to update...after declaring BC in December 2006, DH and I have got through the whole process up to having the standing orders for our IPA's confirmed, and I've just heard that my file is to be transferred to a trustee...not entirely sure why as I have no assets whatsoever (other than the IPA payments they're collecting each month)...anyone got a clue?? Hope it's a good thing!
Think I mentioned on the last thread that we found out that I was pregnant with our first baby just before we declared...how's that for timing eh?! Well, I'm now 16 and a bit weeks pregnant - the 12 week scan was lovely...we have a lively little one in there! Found out from the OR that I'll need to request an income and expenditure form from them soon, as our income will drop to pittence once I go on maternity...DH is self employed and has an erratic (but decent) income - hoping and praying that the IPAs will be written off once we give them the new figures, as even once I go back to work next year we're going to have to survive on my wage alone as DH will be a house hubby (sadly I earn the most, and as I work from home anyway I won't feel too left out I hope)! Anyone got any experience of having IPA's amended/cancelled once they've began, due to changed circumstances or what have you? Tad worried about this, on top of first time pregnancy nerves...I'm such a control freak lol !!
Anyhoo, glad that everyone is well and settled into their new home
Will do my best to offer my (hopefully useful) advice as and when required.
Toodle pip for now guys,
Carly xx0 -

Hi there....
Welcome back. Its still a little lonley sometimes in our new home. but its nice and friendly still. Congrats on the bun doing very well in the oven !!
You should have no problems in dealing with your IPA, our OR has been very helpful and understanding with all types of issues. You should be fine. If you have your OR's or Trustees email details, email them your concerns, they are very helpful.
Hope alls settling for you.

Well done Scoot, glad you've finally got it out of the way - feels better huh? x0

Thanks Mike...I'll contact the OR/trustee then, you're right I'm sure they'll have the answers!
Glad to be back x 0 -
Hi,
I haven't been here for a bit but its great the success you've all had. I originally planned on going Bk last year but backed out at the last minute, daft or what!?!
I went to Kingston CC and picked up the ppwork but have now decided to complete online, thanks for the help.
I am a bit stuck and would welcome any advice, brain isn't really working too well (too many calls, letters and avoiding answering the door!) I am privately renting at the moment but due to lack of funds I am moving out the end of next month (moving in with g/f) but would like to go BK here. As soon as I pay and put in the money is it registered at the present address? And how would the OR think that I am moving within a month of going BK (really do not want any problems after / during.)
The other (lost of what to put) is in the assets section, in regards to household items. Do they really want you to put everything down? i.e. knives, forks, spoons, etc etc Or is it just big items as in beds, sofa's etc? Most things I have have been lent or are 2nd hand or are so old are worth nothing.
Also I have most of my creditors information but don't want to be seen hiding anything, if I miss one off my forms, would the OR find it or is it my responsiblity?
A lot of thanks in advance and I hope this thread is even better than the last, as that was EXCELLENT!!!

Hi and welcome back.
When you have your hearing the address on the petition will be used . If you then find you have to move, all you need to do is advise the OR of your new contact details so they know where you are. Your fees a re paid on the day of the hearing at the court office.
Regarding assets - they are looking for items of high value not your bed ! So if you`ve got a lost Picasso under the stairs you`d better declare it:rotfl:
Cars, property and antiques are all you really have to declare. They are highly unlikely to visit. If you have any doubts, I suggest you contact CCCS or CAB money advice unit to demonstrate to the Judge that you have taken professional advice. The Judge will expect you to have done this.
Best of luck.
