Things aint too bad. I`ve had an IPO/A questionnaire which I have been reliably informed is a good sign to early discharge, also cases are going to Trustee in the next few days .
This could all be over in about 6 weeks:T
I would get the thermostat checked first. If you`ve got a set of spanners its easy. Take out the old one and put it in a jug of boiling water to see if it opens. If not replace it.
Is your electric fan working? could be a blockage in the rad
Have you got an airlock in the cooling system?
Mine got a bit hot for a while but I can`t for the life of me remember what it was?
Thermostat is the best place to start.

would i be able to keep a 1k inheritance if it was made out to someone else? not being greedy. offset 1k with what i used to owe and it's not a problem.
i guess wanting it for a splurge is what got me into the mess in the first place !62;)0 -
Hi Guys and Gals,
Thought i would give you all an update on how things are for me .
Well i was declared BR on the 6/11/06, since having my phone interview with the OR ,had a few teething problems (OR missed off informing 1 creditor) but since then everthing has been fine, then on saturday recieved a letter from the OR stating that im eligable for early discharge so had to fill in an updated income and expendeture form which i sent off yesterday ,only had £38 surplus so hopefully i wont get an IPA .
so for all of you just starting out on the BR journey it does get better and there is a huge light at the end of the tunnel so just hang on in there .
Mike,Tight jock and Richard you guys have been fab and your advise and support has been top notch so a big thank you to you all.

GIS,
That's fab news, I'm so happy for you, well done.
We went bankrupt at the beginning of August and we haven't heard anything yet
Maybe I was really bad in an earlier life :rotfl:

Thanx Richard ,
i think it depends on circumstances for early discharge ,when i went BR i had no assets and no job so i think maybe thats why.

Aww.... I had an email from our OIR the other day. I was asking for the figures we agreed on on our initial I&E as they were changed in the interview... In preoperation for an IPAQ with view of hopeful ED. I was told We wouldnd get any further I&E forms so not to worry and as we have the house to deal with then we will have to wait most probably for AD rather thank hope for ED.
Oh well.... Its not that bad here ???0
