Hi Mike! Long time no....um....type...

How is everything with you? I spotted you on the afternoon tea thread yesterday (although you were offline by the time I finished my housework and sat down for a break lol). When do you go to Canada? Sounds fab!

HOwdy !!
Im really good thanks. We go in October.. Cant wait ! Lots and Lots of saving to do mind.... This will be the 1st big holiday that we have actually paid for ourselves instead of using credit !!
Im being really good today and going to lay a tiled floor.. for a fee !!! Newley wanna be self employed tiler... Itll pay for the wine at the weekend !0 -
I hope you enjoy your holiday all the more knowing you have paid for it all upfront. Good luck with the tiled floor - we've got a plasterer coming round to replaster/reskim our bedroom in 2 weeks, so I'll be up to my eyeballs in plaster dust and paint by then....don't suppose you're handy with a paintbrush??

Mike_St_Helens wrote:Aww.... I had an email from our OIR the other day. I was asking for the figures we agreed on on our initial I&E as they were changed in the interview... In preoperation for an IPAQ with view of hopeful ED. I was told We wouldnd get any further I&E forms so not to worry and as we have the house to deal with then we will have to wait most probably for AD rather thank hope for ED.

If you`re gonna do any more, Mike, invest in a pair of good gel kneepads. I`m currently doing a cobbled floor for a friend in a massive converted barn. An interesting little number as he wants the floor to mimic the old cart tracks through the barn ( !) The difference with a good pair of pads means you can still get up and stand at the bar in the evening !!!!!!!!
And like I said previously - you won`t get rid of us that easily once we are discharged.
