Hi S & N. welcome.
Anyone welcome. With you having been through the process you may be able to help others as well as get good advice on your current situation.
Mike gives out membership numbers - I suggest you keep an eye out for him as he seems to have been offline recently - probably busy at work - or playing in his new car!!

I need to say this to people that understand - NatWest were one of my creditors, I went BR last year. Their profits last year were in excess of 9 billion, so why have I been feeling guilty when I walk past my local bank? I will give myself a talking to.
(In case anyone from a different thread is reading this - no small businesses were harmed by my BR.)0 -

Hi bizzy,
Perfectly natural reaction, we're conditioned to hold financial institutions in high esteem and feel as though we've falied if we can't repay our debts.
It makes me smile when I walk down our high street thinking that there's only one of the major high street banks that we don't owe money to. As part of my job I quite often have to go into the branch that our business account was based at and who we owe the most to and I hold my head high and smile at the people I know.
All banks will provide a certain amount in their budgets for bad and doubtful debt so we're only really proving that their accountants are correct in their estimates.
You have nothing to feel guilty about, you have paid the price, banish those thoughts to the recycle bin where they belong. :j

I know how you feel, NatWest were our biggest creditor too, but hold your head up high - we would be doing them for bank charges if we weren't BR cos they certainly didn't help!Discharged June 06:beer:

Yo mike. Hows the new motor going?
My OH usually drives our Punto , she came in the other night saying it was all over the place . Looked at back tyres this morning and they are both knackered  Couldn`t believe they could both go out of shape at the same time. My man at the garage reckons it was cos of the age of them.
(I just worked out they were 9 years old - the original ones. Only done 40000) Also cos she has started doing more high speed miles and not just piddling about round the village.
Ho hum - bye bye 50 quid:rolleyes:1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42
