PREPAID DEBIT CARDS, as they are called.

Why would you get a cashplus card over a quidco one , which costs nothing?0

Didn't know that quidco did a card!

Get yourself a prepaid card, something like Cashplus or others, there are a lot of them about now.
You preload the card with money and then use it exactly like a Mastercard or Visa.
Cashplus costs £9.95 initially plus £4.95 per month or £1 per transaction. However, there are no interest charges. Have had my Cashplus card since about last August and it is invaluable for everything you mentioned in your post.
There is no need to feel out of place in the World, you just haven't got the right tools yet.
Thanks Shameless,
I asked for that, I posted it in a moment of "melancholia" and under the influence but it was after having to contend with a very difficult set of circumstances; we are all allowed to have moments of self doubt and a whinge and that was mine; you won't find many others.
I have got one of those cards, so really I should have edited the post but forgot.
Yours humiliated and humbled,
Richard
P.S: Out of interest Shameless, what's your financial status?0 -
ScootW - where is the link for the Quidco card? I cannot find it on the quidco site!0

You may be stressed and feel like a broken man at the moment but there is a route back to sanity and contentment and you've just picked up the map, so get ready for the journey cos it's a difficult one, but eminently worthwhile once you get started.
