Nap, hmmm might be a good idea, you're probably right didn't sleep too well last night, bad dreams, was kind of weird. Might take a walk with the dogs and see how I feel after that, bad start to the day I don't think helped, I just can't stop dropping things and knocking things over. Pleased the other things I have dropped (yes there was more) had lids on and bounced.
One day I might be more organised...........

Lil-me - I tried to open a pack of raisins earlier and tore it with such force they went everywhere - dread to think how many went under the fridge!

Shez - Yes the extension was just done, but we rent so it was all at the landlords expense.

DLB - you got some good bargins there - I popped into Boots this morning - they were still showing 75% off signs but had taken all the stock off the shelves - I had a mutter to a manger about it - not that it did any good!

Well my trip into town was really pointless - but I did get sorted with some boxes for ebay stuff.

Cleaned out my larder and found loads of packs of "exotic bean mix" and "stew and soup" mix - just bunged everything into soak and will cook it all up tomorrow and freeze down in portion sizes....I always forget to soak them for when I need them.

Right - need to crack on with the ironing and make a few phone calls.

Yeah!!!! I finally got through to the holiday company (they have been constantly engaged for the last two weeks) and have booked our holiday! Really looking forward to it now even though we should be using the money to pay off CC's. £145 for 4 people for a week is good though, DH has sorted out pet care too. One of the girls from his office is going to pop in and feed the cats and guinea pigs.

    Fishguard here we come :D

    Afternoon all
Just a quick line in my lunch time. Saw this on the grabbit board, and although many of you I am sure go on regular, thought I'd just bring this one to your attention

Hope those under the weather are feeling better soon.

Need to pop out and see what I can grab from Boots across the road.

    Take care

Hi Yall, wall to wall sunshine here in the emids but bitterly cold. I've just done a reccy of the utility bills as I am moving the leccy to another company. Gas (heating and hot water only) has cost me £85 for the last 35 days:eek: I wouldn't mind but the thermostat is only set to 18c and it's on for the bare minmum amount of time per day. I'm serioulsy thinking of burning some fossil fuel on the patio to aid global warming before I'm bankrupted LOL. I'm sitting hunched over my pc for warmth, swathed in a motley collection of knitted items:rotfl:
I shall decamp to the conservatory in an hour with two cats and a blanket for warmth as I watch Look North and snaffle my meagre lunch. This diet is making me tetchy to say the least. Yesterday as the Sunday School filled out of the service I had a burning urge to trip up some little angle in an attempt to grab his half eaten bag of chocolate buttons and gobble them up before he could run sniveling to his mum:o LOL
My availablity request has come through from the county council today for me to sign up for polling station duties, form delivering, postal vote opening etc so a few sheckles could be coming my way throughout the spring. YAY! Paid2clicks has being paying out quite well over the last month too so I'm squirreling away for a rainy day while I can:j

Well I had better crack on. Have a good day one and all

    Good afternoon everyone,

thriftlady - when i was losing weight last year, i was having dreadful problems, the nurse at the hospital eventually told me that i wasnt eating enough!!! changed from eating just fruit at lunchtime, to fruit and HM veg soup, and the weight really did start dropping off. Doing the same this time, but i dont have so much to loose so its not happening very fast this time, mind you, lost the 1lb i put back on last week, so at least im heading in the right direction again!!!

Well, very chuffed with myself today. Went to Tescos, having looked on the misprice thread, and found a Horrid Henry book, £5.97, with a big sticker saying £4.97 on it. Bought it, then went to customer services and had the £5.97 refunded and got to keep the book!!!! So pleased, can be a pressie for DDs birthday in April!!! Also bought a lovely piee of organic lamb, reduced from £7, to £4.39 (not a huge bargain, but very good for organic, British lamb i thought) so ive chopped it in half, and frozen it for roasts later.
((HUGS)) to all those who are still poorly - but good news JackieO re Tilly Grace xx
Have a great afternoon, im off to start Mondays flylady,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Right that is it. I give up! Went to the car as felt better after the walk, DP must have left something switched on in the car and the battery is flat!!!! Looks like instant coffee and home all day for me! I really hope DP is back before 5.30pm so we can go to Mister Twisters with the other car or the kids will not be impressed.

Moggins that's cheap for 4, well done :)

    Hi skirt :hello:

Lil_me, I just tried to put my BM on and spilt a pack of milk powder *all over* the inside of my cupboard, inside the packets of rice and pulses, everywhere :( Don't suppose it makes you feel any better but you're not the only one having one of those days.

Hope OH gets on OK at the funeral and that you get the kids out before they explode!
